I have a hard time believing fall sports will be able to start on time.  But I guess we will see.

Oregon has seen a LOT of transfer outs over the last few years.  It makes me wonder if they were pushed so Graves could free slots.  If this is what college sports are coming to--with elite coaches using "free agency" to staff their teams (Erin Boley, Minyon Moore, and now perhaps Dijonai Carrington) then the game loses its lustre for me.  I don't want college sports to be like pro sports, and it seems it is on that path.
Cochrane is probably not a Pac-12 level player. Her game is like better suited at somewhere like Portland (they have tons of Aussies) or Saint Mary’s. She has potential, but was never going to get the enough time on the court to improve.

agree about Cochrane. She saw the writing on the wall. I've heard the younger Sabally is more of a 4/5 than a wing. And they expect big things from Prince as well. Also 2 of their 5 top 25 recruits this year are bigs. Not surprised Cochrane is looking to go elsewhere. In that vein, I'm surprised that more of Geno's bench players don't escape. He doesn't play his bench even when they're 40 points ahead...so unless you're a top five recruit, why go there?

nice jzaniya harriel interview. fabulous kid. she sounds like someone who might get into stanford on her academic merits alone.

nice moves too.  she could play here.

I posted this before that I saw her play. However her team was ahead at the half 54-6. Hard to judge

ASU picks up a 2021 commit - Meg Newman, one of the top high school players nationally in the class of 2021, has committed to Arizona State women's basketball.
Newman is a 6-3 forward from Indianapolis, who chose ASU over Maryland, Michigan, Michigan State and North Carolina. She is a four-star recruit ranked in the top 50 overall in the 2021 class by HoopGurlz and Prospects Nation.

Prospects Nation has a 30-player unordered watch list for 2022.

Many of the targets on Bob's list are on the watch list.

Her final three were Oregon, Oregon State, and Louisville. Didn't seem like one of our prime targets by the end. If I had to guess, I do think we will land Kiki Iriafen. Would be really nice to land Miles (insiders seem to think she'll follow Banghart to UNC since she said she would already have committed to Princeton if Banghart had stayed), or (not holding my breath) Fudd so get a top guard in that class, but I'm not so sure.

After a dearth of bigs we now seem to be short (pardon the pun) on guards in our incoming classes.

Could explain Harriel’s optimism.

Did we think we had a strong chance at her? She didn't even list us in her top 3?

I'm going to choose to believe it's because Fudd is choosing us.  There is absolutely no evidence that is the case.  But I am going to choose to believe it anyway.

I guess she was shaken, but not stirred.  ;-)

Yes - a big loss. Heard first hand reports that she was a “player” that really stood out on the national team. Sorry we missed but I think being close to family may have been important.
