I saw a blurb on FB that this young lady 6'3" Gabrielle Abigor from Berean Christian HS in Walnut Creek has a 4.0 and likes the Ivy schools and Stanford. That said, she only started basketball a couple years ago. Never-the-less, she's among 10 on the NorCal watch list for the c/o 2024.

unless i missed something, indya nivar has not announced her decision yet. i don't find anything new on a google search. last i heard she was between nc state and stanford. nc state is local for her and a very good team. stanford is stanford. the early signing period ends tomorrow, nov 17, so i would expect a decision then. seems cautionary, but not definitive, that tara announced the recruiting class without waiting to hear from nivar.

She could also wait and announce in the spring. Call me pessimistic but I think she choses NC State. Despite our desperate need for an elite guard, NC state has 0 signees for their 2022 class. We've struck out so many times with guard recruiting, why should we assume that's about to change.

I too am a pessimist, but I can always hope. As for the wait until spring possibility, there was another guard not so long ago who kept everyone waiting, and waiting . . . until she announced in spring. If you can't figure out who, if I recall correctly, she ranked #4 in Hoopgurlz at the time. By the time she graduated, one had to wonder why she wasn't #1 . Who? well, in four years she set the all time triple double record and she went to Oregon. At least Sabrina chose the the Pac 12.

How good a student is Saylor Poffenbarger? Transferring from UConn. From MD but wonder since parent comments related also to academics if she would consider Stanford? Or is she another Duke bound transfer?

Seems Oregon would be the most likely spot for her out west.

She's probably leaning more toward Stanford for the higher quality of education, but the lure of family and friends being able to watch her play live with under an hour commute is the other strong factor.  

I think she's going to stay home, which will surely make NC State and everybody at home and at her HS very ecstatic, starting with her signing in her HS gym.
