stanford 25 - 16. hit .407, much better defensively

RE: 2025 Women’s Volleyball - BobK - 11-29-2025

What a comeback from the first set. Now up 2-1

RE: 2025 Women’s Volleyball - mbdude - 11-29-2025

stanford 25 - 22 3rd set
14 service errors thru 3 sets

18 service errors. not really serving tough, just long or into net. now 20 to 20

RE: 2025 Women’s Volleyball - BobK - 11-29-2025

Now the 5tb set. So strange can’t challenge a player going over the net. Of course so obvious should have been called

RE: 2025 Women’s Volleyball - TonyLima - 11-29-2025

What a match!

Lobby for a rule change in the off-season.

And Stanford is your ACC (co)Champions and automatic bid winner (head-to-head tiebreak over Pitt).

LOL - that's all I can muster at 2:25 am, and there's still the WBB 4th qtr and FB to go

Gutsy win, with Parks setting.

Decent announcers, too.

RE: 2025 Women’s Volleyball - BobK - 11-29-2025

Stanford hit a great 324. Plus had 16 blocks
What a great match and win

RE: 2025 Women’s Volleyball - TonyLima - 11-29-2025

Volleyball does not get any better than this. Especially when our girls win.

RE: 2025 Women’s Volleyball - Card10Fan - 11-29-2025

Great match. Team was up for the challenge and TOOK this victory. ACC co-champs sounds pretty great. I'd much rather watch Stanford volleyball than the current version of Stanford WBB. Also, Parks had a great game!

Next question, is where do we end up in the bracket tomorrow?

Made up for 19 service errors (against only two aces), while Louisville had 4 aces and only 9 errors.

Both Blyashov and Rubin hitting over .300 and both middles hitting over .400 is pretty darned good.  Only Harvey seemed to struggle today.  Blyashov in particular, bounced back after a negative hitting percentage in the first set, and won two of our last three points.

That should clinch a #2 seed, hopefully far away from Nebraska.

Great win! Probably the best game by Parks. Her setting looked more fluid. She wasn’t afraid to set the middles in the middle of rallies.  Andrew was unstoppable after set 1.

I like aggressive serving but gotta clean it up especially the short service errors. Too many errors overall.

Alas, a great blocking game. Stanford out block the #1 blocking team in the ACC. All right now!

It would be interesting to see what seed Stanford gets. I doubt they will get a number 1 seed, likely a 2 seed. I hope I’m wrong

On the road, marginal facility, top 10 opponent, 19 service errors - WE.GOT.THIS!!!

I would never second-guess Coach Hambly. But a gentle suggestion: maybe serving doesn’t have to be quite that aggressive. Other teams do OK.

Probably #8 overall, second in the Nebraska regional.

But I think there is a chance Stanford gets the #7 seed, which could put them in the Kentucky quadrant.

I’d like to endorse and amplify the observation re Parks. I have been (quietly ) critical,of her play through much of the year. She was a difference maker tonight. Very, very good setting and the extra blocking dimension and strong defense helped put us over the top.  Lots of heroines tonight and all deserved . But Parks is right up there with the best tonight.
