My hope comes from the fact the huskies have played one road game, and looked only so-so against an only so-so (at best) UA team. UW had remaining road games against Oregon (OK, maybe not hard, but still, rivalry road game), Utah (despite today's result, should be tough), Cal (not a gimme, based on this week), and WSU (they looked pretty good today...). Those are plenty of places to stumble for a team that's played 4/5 games at home and went to OT in their one road game.

Not that I necessarily think our chances are much better, but we've probably gotten through our toughest games, and WSU and Colorado are both at home (arguably our two hardest remaining games).

Washington State nearly beat us last year, and Luke Falk today looked even better than last year.  If Jake Browning can victimize us, so can Falk.  If our corners are not fully recovered by the end of the week, we are going to have to score a lot of points against Washington State.  More points, perhaps, than our offense has so far shown itself to be capable of.

Back in the days when the Huskies were consistently very good, they still would play much, much better in Husky Stadium that they did on the road. I realize that playing better at home is true for most teams, but I think it was particularly true for Washington. Hoping it plays out this year.

Pleasantly surprised to see our 2015 nemesis Northwestern beat Iowa after starting the season with losses to Western Michigan & Illinois State

Re: Week 5 Games - Spiny_Norman - 10-02-2016

Arizona is in worse shape injury-wise than Stanford.

"There’s a real possibility this week where Arizona starts its No. 4 QB, a WR at RB, a former walk-on at left guard, back-ups at RG and RT."
