UW/Michigan: gotta believe Michigan will be favored here, but I don't know who everyone is bringing back. That being said, I'm pretty sure UW Eason is going pro so UW should have a new Q, and I think Patterson is out of eligibility. I wonder if one of the two teams will feature KJ Costello at QB.
USC/Alabama: Yeah, RIP SC, though Tua is going pro, so Alabama will have a new QB
Cal/TCU: TCU had a down year and Cal should be on the upswing, so I am guessing Cal should win this rematch of the Cheez Its bowl. Looks like the two teams have been going in opposite directions
OSU/OSU: Oklahoma State should be favored, but Oregon State is better than it has been. Jake Luton finally exhausted eligibility this season (his sixth), so you wonder whether there is a reversion to the mean
Oregon/tOSU: As noted, Oregon has had monster recruiting.... and yet tOSU's has been better the last few years. Plus Justin Fields will be back for tOSU, while Justin Herbert will not be for Oregon.
I'm thinking the Pac-12 will go 1-4 in these high profile non-conference games.

PS, you forgot Stanford/William and Mary
They should channel Seabiscuit when the Southern and Midwestern powers come a-calling...

The Pac-12 games vs Notre Dame are definitely high profile games. So add them to the mix.
Looks a lot like 1-6 type record or even 0-7 in the important OOC games. Many of the Pac-12 best chances for 13-0 or 12-1 seasons would need a major upsets in their marque OOC games. Sigh...
Normally the Pac-12 would be told the team is honored to be going to Pasadena, but since the Rose is a CFP semi site the Pac-12 champ will be honored to go to Arizona.

I agree this game may not be pretty. however, Alabama may have as many as 17 drafted this April including beaucoup in 1st round. that is a lot of top talent to replace.

Should be a good TV audience, at least for the first quarter or so.

Wonder if Sam Cunningham has any eligibility left, think he redshirted his freshman year. . . .

Actually, Sam played in the days when they still had freshman teams. I happened to be at the Stanford USC freshman game when Sam was playing. We had some little kid out there who had to be a walk-on. Sam put an absolutely vicious lick on the kid and he went down like he had been shot with a gun.To his credit he got right back up. I was surprised he did.

And I saw Sam play in HS along with teammate Big Man Poynter all 420 lbs. we sat in front of the other team’s RB mom who screamed get him (Big Man) off him

One of my neighbors in Los Altos played linebacker for Oregon when Sam was playing. Said going up against the guy was not one of the more enjoyable experiences of his career.
When we moved to Florida my 8ith grade son played on his school's JV team. We played against a team which included HS juniors. Needless to say they were a lot bigger, faster, and stronger than we were. Our kids were getting the you-know-wnat kicked out of them and my wife was going bananas. "Get my son out of there!".

Somehow, I am not too worried about Alabama being able to replace that talent.
