Final Update after Day 50.  

  

The final map of this year's game of RISK sees the Farm engulfed in Chaos.  Not a bad end after our team's efforts this year.  Our moves after our death were centered on denying Michigan and Nebraska victory by either playing as agents of Chaos or lending our mercenary services to Georgia Tech whenever they managed to get control of our home territory. And I'm happy to report that despite leading for much of the final week, in the end Team Michigan lost their place atop the standings to Team Ohio State.

College Football RISK just started again for 2023.  First roll was today.

Is there any discussion anywhere coordinating Stanford players?  I've been looking on reddit and discord, but I'm not very experienced with either and can't find anything.

I had trouble with the risk site login earlier today. But it seems to be working now.  It looks really slick this year, and the map covers more than the USA this time.  It seems to cover most of North America.

I got a reddit message from u/Kevin_Hogan that the game was starting up again.  If you want to join in on the strategy sessions, perhaps message that account for the discord stuff.

Thanks!  I had received email from "kevin hogan" but the link to the reddit message in the email did not work.  I managed to join yesterday because I played three years ago (thanks again to you), but found discord confusing (I being a somewhat older fart than I think most are on the stanford discord).  Took me a while to figure out getting verified by one of the admins.  I just kept looking for a risk thread.  Now that I'm on, it's fun to follow the conversation.

And, yes, I love the expansion of the game to all of North America.  Wazzu gets booted from eastern washington, but takes over the western slope of the Canadian rockies!  Tulane is out of New Orleans, but finds refuge in Yucatan!  Fun stuff.
