Sadly, the New Orleans - Denver game has been taken off the board in sports books. I will absolutely be watching for the sheer train wreck potential it offers. But to be fair, if Blake Bortles was starting, it would be like having no NFL QBs available to play as well.

Probably a lot less than no fans has cost the NFL owners.
BTW, I don't think BC really believes everyone should be able to play - I'd be surprised if anyone thinks that.

If you take the arguments to their logical conclusion, unless someone is symptomatic and physically unable to perform, then why not let them play?
Or maybe the arguments are flawed, and the better part of valor right now would be to shut down competitive sports.

Ravens/Steelers pushed out to Wed now. One player tested positive today, but he's on the IR already.
Odd, why didn't the Broncos get this similar push out treatment that the Ravens are getting?

The Ravens should threaten not to play the Steelers . . . indefinitely.
As to why Denver didn't get the same treatment, I heard this morning on the radio that Denver acknowledged that certain folks within team didn't follow NFL's strict protocols and this was sort of an "eff you" by the League. No clue if that's true - or if Ravens situation is different - but it's one possible explanation.

The Ravens fined a strength and conditioning coach for violating protocols.

Apparently, the Ravens have four different strains of the virus.

I don't know that the strains are highly contagious or not; I think it's more that the individual was a super-spreader. But regardless, it goes to show that a) bringing COVID-19 in from the community was not a fluke for these players and b) it's possible to spread it within the organization. Moreover, if it was possible for four players to independently get COVID-19 from the community, then it is possible for them to spread it back out to the community.

Last night, Dez Bryant received a positive result after individual warmups. He was pulled immediately, but the game was allowed to go on. NFL claimed that contact tracing revealed no close contacts.
Let's hope they're right.
