Okay, one more great movie line. Admit it, I bet few of you can deny experiencing this situation: You're in a meeting. The leader is either is taking roll, or asking for input from a person or team, and is met with - silence. Invariably, somebody in the room chimes in with:
"Bueller? Bueller?"
What's great about that scene, as is true of other famous movie lines (like "Hey! I'm walking here!") is that it was never in the script and ad-libbed. Ben Stein admitted this on 60 Minutes, CNN, and Oprah. Stein was introduced to John Hughes in part because both were Republicans in Hollywood. Hughes originally was to have Stein read the class roster off-camera, but the kids erupted in laughter with his droll delivery. Hughes then put him in front of the camera, and told him to talk on whatever he wanted. That may be my favorite scene in a film filled with great scenes.

I highly recommend that readers watch that scene from the beginning. It is my favorite scene in the flick (and there were several great ones).

Think they were on the deck looking at "the best view in DC" when the donor's daughter asks Charlie if he wants to see "the second best view in DC." Agree that was a phenomenal scene and well-delivered line.
But if we're talking about Charlie Wilson's War, then I also have to offer this great line (which is at the end of a GREAT scene):
Charlie Wilson (Tom Hanks): Well, I guess it ain't gonna be twice tonight.
Houston Socialite (Julia Roberts): Well, I guess somebody can't count.
