Kyu Blu will lock down half the field, have a pick-6, and make Slovis second-guess all passes. The offensive line will gel big time, and NFL scouts will start looking at Fisk for their d-lines. Shaw will become wildly unpredictable on both sides of the ball, and we'll see everything from old-school option plays to spurts of pass-happy no-huddle. It will be a glorious day.
My compliments, Sir.
And, do you have any stock tips?

The win earned Stanford 3 points in the coaches’ poll, 2 fewer than San Jose State.
USC was knocked out of the top 25 to 27, behind powerhouse Miami, which barely escaped App State.

If my brain thinks we will win, I give a prediction based on my best rational analysis. If my brain think we will lose, I give a prediction based on my heart. This was a prediction based on my heart, (including the deepest level hate for SC) and I am so happy that the team and Coach Shaw rose to the occasion and brought home the convincing win. I still want us to start seasons better on the road and turn our team loose to play without overthinking the game but that may just be a symptom of the kind of player that can get recruited and get past admissions and not a problem with Shaw's offense. Shaw runs an offense that is not an old fashioned pound the run and grind like many think. It is constantly adding new formations and plays based on the development of the game and on the skills of his players. Shaw is a GREAT coach and I don't think we are likely to see a better Stanford coach in the next 20 or 30 years, assuming we stay in the game depending on the professionalism that infects the college game. My first prediction win in my career is for a USC game. I can retire happily, but will keep picking with my heart if needed.
Cheers,
Pete F.

0-2 Arizona still has 5 votes in the coaches' poll. It means nothing right now.

What in the actual f? Did coaches mistake Arizona and ASU or something? I mean, this is not a case of voters being slow to update their priors; Arizona has been miserable for some time. They were winless last season, culminating in a 70-7 drubbing at the hands of ASU. They were 4-8 in 2019 (2-7 in the Pac-12); hell they lost to us! They are on a 14-game losing streak. I can think of no circumstances under which a coach would give them a vote. What gives?
