Third and one and Shaw calls a timeout. You can only do that if you can stop them and they can’t, they just can’t.

Not sure why Shaw stopped the clock on third and one. The likelihood of Washington converting was high and now UW has all three time outs.

We should have kept him upright for two more seconds. Ugh.
That was bad clock management by Shaw. Twice he called time out, and Washington would have been happy to take the ball to halftime. I get being aggressive, but it would help to be able to stop Uw.
