What an unfortunate drop on 4th down to end the drive and cost us the game. If he would have made that catch, would have been room to run. It was a great play call.

Was it #82 Raines with the drop? Why would he be the target there?

Tried to run before he caught it. Got to understand the situation. Only important thing was the catch. Tough break. Daniels was terrific tonight.

Really feel for that receiver. He's going to remember that drop for the rest of his life.

Good game against the #5 team. Stanford made them look overrated. Just couldn't pull out the win.

The freshman Raines got to be the hero with one great pass catch, then the goat with the painful drop on 4th down. I imagine he got playing time because of Ayomanor's injury.

Stanford was right there all night in a game most thought would be over by the 2nd quarter. Incredible effort, incredible play calling. It would have been nice to get the W, but this team played with incredible heart tonight. I’m excited for the future.

I didn't feel like the playcalling was great on the second-to-last Stanford drive. TT thinking too much about the clock (going slow) if you ask me, with plays called to gain just a few yards. Not aggressive enough, imo.

I am frustrated, because with Karty your offense needs just a few first downs to give you a chance to win.

Also, I did not love the onside kick, but as it happened I have to admit that Karty did a good job with it. Maybe it is something that worked often in practice. I am going to give TT the benefit of the doubt on that call.

In the big picture, yes, there is a lot to like about what happened tonight. It's just that when you are down two and have the ball, with Karty as a great kicker, you need to do better. True, it is a lot tougher without Ayomanor. But the other Stanford receivers? I do not remember a drop until that fourth-and-two. Be aggressive and give Daniels a chance to throw down the field. That didn't happen, and Stanford lost with a few bullets left in the holster, if you ask me.

Nights like tonight make me sad that the PAC-12 is dissolving. It’ll probably be a long time until we play UW again.

Hopefully at some point some parts of the conference will come back together and we’ll be able to see these rivalries again.

Way better game than I think many of us expected, especially the folks who clearly decided to not even show up in the stadium today (boo!).

It’s a fine line between the Greatest Upset Ever and just missing a win vs undefeated UW tonight… really just a play or two that went our way back then, and didn’t go our way tonight. I gotta say, I like the improvement. Big Game is this year’s bowl game… keep improving and we will have some tangible evidence of victory on our hands soon…

Watched the post-game presser. TT said he told Raines before the fourth-down play that he'd be open and to catch it, then do something with it.

*groan*

TT of course said that the game didn't come down to any one single play, which I agree with completely, and said he was very proud of the team, which I also agree with. No word on the injury to Ayomanor; TT said maybe Sunday or Monday they'd know more. He didn't say anything else about the injury.
