Talk and lanky, could add some muscle, but super quick and able to move great for her size.  Dad is a coach and has emphasized all aspects of the game despite her height.  In addition to moving well, can dribble and shoots the 3 well.  I think with some time against higher level players, she could really be great.  Both parents played at Northwestern and has a twin (male) that also plays, dad coaches, and seems like a great family! Looking forward to seeing her in a Stanford uniform!

Hmmm, I'm liking what I see in her offensive arsenal.
6'5 with a lethal 3-point shot, and has a pretty good handle
for her height which enables her to dribble penetrate.

Exciting.  Kids of coaches tend to be very skilled and have a high basketball IQ.  Eschmeyer was ranked #35 by Bluestar and she reached the top 22 cut of the U16 team trials

I remember her dad at Northwestern. He played in the NBA for a few years as well.

A story about the family. https://www.bocopreps.com/2022/11/29/a-family-affair-eschmeyers-taking-3a-basketball-by-storm/

Alexandra's club team tweeted that she received the Stanford offer in late September.

I shared this before, but here's a nice highlight reel:

She kind of reminds me of Amanda Muse!

So up to 3 (leaving a spot for Harriel's 5th) scholarships still available for c/o 2025, with three clear top targets: Jasmine Davidson, Brynn McGaughy, and Lara Somfai.

RE: Class of 2025+ - BobK - 01-26-2024

You did see it first Kat. Keep it up
Yes those three or two would be awesome

Jazzy Davidson has narrowed her list (down to 8). We are on it and I would be surprised if we didn't get an official visit before she decides. Haven't seen a finalist list yet for Somfai or McGaughy.

Thanks for sharing (again). I'm liking her a lot! She's like a "Euro" big - mobile, handles the ball well, really nice range & accuracy

RE: Class of 2025+ - old spanish trail - 01-26-2024

She looks great, actually, for a soph or jr. Good form on the 3, scores in the paint with both hands, fairly comfortable dribble. With strength will add to her vertical and rebounding. Now, I'm hoping for the Aussie.

Great to hear Stanford is still in it!

RE: Class of 2025+ - CompSci87 - 01-28-2024

I've added some more 2025 and 2026 player rankings to the first post. Blue Star is a bit erratic, with a lot of ties, so #N typically has way more than N-1 people ahead of her. And they have no #1 for 2025. It's interesting to see another opinion anyway.

RE: Class of 2025+ - Jskass - 01-28-2024

Am optimistic being in ACC will help East Coast recruiting.

Raoul_000 has added a page for Stanford recruiting, but so far nothing we don't already know

RE: Class of 2025+ - CompSci87 - 01-31-2024

From Raoul's list, Aniyá Foy is new to me.

RE: Class of 2025+ - BobK - 01-31-2024

Foy is # 52 espn. I added her to our list

Another. Holland Harris 6-1 wing from Florida ranked # 41. A 2025

Harris only started playing basketball in 2021.  She was an elite tennis player before that.  Probably has a brobdingnagian amount of upside considering her limited basketball background

Th rumored finalist are UConn, Stanford, and UCLA for the Princeton grad transfer, Kaitlyn Chen.

I’m not sure I see her picking UConn with how guard heavy their roster already is.

that perspective might apply even more to ucla: rice, osborne and londyn jones.

she's from san marino, which favors ucla, then us.

No Osborne next year as she exhausts her eligibility this season.

UCLA has two freshmen guards entering in 2024 to supplement Rice and Jones:  5'10" Finnish combo guard Elina Aarnisalo who currently plays for Belgium's Kangoeroes in Belgium's top women's division as well as in Eurocup play; and 6'1" shooting guard Avary Cain (Hoopgurlz #24).

When Princeton played UCLA at Pauley Pavilion this past November Chen had a good number of friends and family in bright orange Kaitlyn Chen t-shirts cheering her on.

RE: Class of 2025+ - !ZAR! - 02-26-2024

Looks like Stanford is out for McGaughy - posted a final 12 on Instagram and Stanford is not on it...

Still lots of strong options to round out and already strong class...

RE: Class of 2025+ - BobK - 02-26-2024

Thanks !ZAR! I added this to the front page forget to post here
