She missed the ball by several feet with her swat of her head. No where near Clark's out stretched arm with the ball. Reese knew what she was doing, and I don't think it was blocking the ball.
That can't be true. If it was, Reese would have received a Flagrant 1... :D

...but did you WATCH the game? It was no big deal, the right call was made. Welcome to the WNBA.
BTW, speaking of Reese USA Today had an interesting article regarding the other tidbits that were investigated for the Washington Post Mulkey article that was supposed to be a big deal. I just saw news and replays. If Reese was playing dirty, she's got good discipline. Watch her eyes. She's looking at the ball the whole time, even after CC goes down.

well maybe, but top basketball players have great peripheral vision and use it - for example, they often look one way and pass another. any good basketball player could whack someone in the head while looking in another direction.

Basketball players know how to follow through and take a swipe at the opponent without looking. They know the direction of the player and where their head is. Draymond Green is example 1A. Reese knew what she was doing and got the appropriate Flagrant 1. That should really be the end of it but cheap shot artists tend to stick to their story despite the evidence to the contrary.

Clark has a good head on her shoulders. She made Academic All America (along with Hannah Jump) for the second year in a row. 3.64 GPA.

Here's the clip, but also toward the end a different play is shown from the same game where Clark smacks Carrington in the face, knocking out her contact. This play was just as aggressive by Clark yet no one hears about it because if they were to publicize Clark's "dirty plays" it would kill the story that she's getting picked on.

It's a physical game, and Clark isn't the only one getting smacked around. The players aren't whining about it, just the media trying to drum up drama.
