I believe.

I liked the way the offensive braintrust handled the "obvious" passing downs. Simple passes, nothing really down the field or over the middle. BG went one of two, and Stanford has a two score lead.
The defense has to be tired, but get a stop here and Stanford will likely--not saying it's a lock, just likely--steal this game.

Before I forget, Stanford plays Florida State at home at 7:30 p.m. kickoff time on 10/18. Also have Pitt on November 1, currently listed as "TBA" and if they're smart, they'll make sure that kickoff is 7:30 p.m. or later. And Notre Dame is 11/29 at Stanford. South Bend is in the East Time zone, so let's start that at 7:30 too...

Gulbranson looks like a different quarterback. 13 of 21, 186 yards, 1 TD so far.

After the BC punt, Stanford's win probability (per ESPN) at 96.3%.
It's definitely not that high, but how does Stanford play this offensive possession? I'd like to see a play catering to BG's strengths on first down (rolling to his right), following by two runs. We'll see...

10/18 is reunion/homecoming weekend and I will be there for my 40th. :)

Nice guess. Except for the pass.

I believe we are well within the boundaries set by Oliver’s Woofing Theorem.

With 3:44 left in the fourth quarter, Stanford is (hopefully) not going to throw another pass the rest of this game.

We are actually running POWER in Boa Constrictor mode up 30 to 20 with under 3min to play.
Is this 2025? Or 2009?

Exceedingly large proportions penalty on BC on third and four.

My late husband used to say, "Better to be lucky than good." Never sure what that meant. But it is better to be lucky AND good, don't ya think?

Vintage-ass drive to close the thing out. Beautiful. Didn't go to the game because I figured it'd be a slopfest, but there's some proof of concept here for the rest of the year so long as we get this kind of consistency and production from Gulbranson.

Excluding the penalty - 8 runs for 43 yards on the drive - nice!
