Back to the chalk board Bobbbbb. There were two separate questions... What Brave played for all three incarnations (Boston, Milwaukee, Atlanta). What Brave played for only one team. You must have missed one.

After reading today's Giants notes in the Chron I would think that Mathewson is the Giant who threw the four shutouts in Giants question.

The ump is Bill Klem. West is second.
BC... has to be Barry Bonds unless it is some guy with no at bats and a walk. Unless it’s Williams or Ruth.

Eddie Gaedel, the little person hired by Bill Veeck (Browns? Can't remember). One plate appearance, had a 1.5 inch strike zone, he drew a walk and never appeared again.

Yes the Browns. Strike zone bigger than that but smallest ever in MLB.
My all time favorite ump was Emmett Ashford.

Bill Veeck told Gaedel that he had a sniper hidden in the park and if he swung he would be shot. “Veeck as in Wreck” the best baseball book ever.

I didn't see them play but from my HOF memory either Wee Willie Keeler or John McGraw. I don't think Home Run Baker, Cobb or Wagner played in the 19th Century.

You're good! McGraw had the 4th highest ratio (0.737). Ted Williams had the fifth (0.735) highest ratio in 1941.

Tony Cloninger hit two in one game. A Sunday at Candlestick and Bobbbbb and I were both there. He also had a double to drive in a run I think.
I think Bobby Bonds hit a slam in his first game.
Jim Gentile hit two slams in one game. In same inning? Sacred Heart HS in the City. Was the AAA POY for SH and was the best pitcher in SF.
McCovey most NL grand slams?

Yes on Cloninger as the only pitcher to hit two grand slams in a day.
(Bobby) Bonds is one of the two Giants to hit a grand slam in their first game. Brandon Crawford was the other.
McCovey had the most NL grand slams in the NL with 18. Alex Rodriguez has the major league record with 25.
