I guess missing a massive amount of serves is a good thing because it shows the players are serving aggressively.
Stanford loses first set. Stanford started out in too deep a hole to get out of.
Video quality is good. Announcers are good. GT band is good.

Another court with a low ceiling. Stanford bounces one off the lights, ricochets out of Miner's reach. Should be a minimum ceiling height requirement.
Team is half a step slow, timing is off, and lots of miscommunication. I repeat my mantra about jet lag and west to east travel.
Re the service errors, team has been doing this all season, despite repeated requests on this board. Yet somehow they have only 4 losses. I suggest letting Coach Hambly worry about the coaching.

Stanford down 15-12 in set 2.

Stanford is 11-0 at home, 10-4 (
on our way to 10-5) on the road. In those 4 losses, we've been swept three times
(again, on our way to a fourth). At home, not only did we beat GaTech in strait sets, we beat them 25-9, 25-17, 25-12; on the road, we are on our way to being swept.

Not... dead... yet.
Stanford fends off two match points, and scores the final four points to win the third set 26-24. Ipar Kurt got three kills.

The announcers indicated that Georgia Tech had some players out with injury during that first match who have returned to the lineup. They look like a top 20 team today.

Stanford up 12-6 in set 4. GT went a long time without a time out.

If I counted right, Kurt had 8 kills in the fourth set. She's now hitting .368 for the match with 18 kills.

Reverse sweep.

Of course there's a challenge on the final play.

Maybe this team DOES have that Nnamani clutch gene

Does a jet legged team have the energy to complete a reverse sweep on the road? I think we were just sluggish to start, not jet legged. Maybe overlooked them some since we easily swept them at home. This is a good win. Nice to show some grit and effort to complete the comback.

Call confirmed. Yellow Jackets get stung by Stanford on their home court.

Yes, definitely a gut check grinder of a win for Stanford vs. a very good R32 type
or a good R16 type of NCAA Tournament opponent.

If that is in some convoluted way directed toward me, I agree Hambly knows how to coach.

For those of us who had to follow the Match staring at a LiveStats screen for lack of ACCNX access, will there be a YouTube recording of the match available? If so, THANKS to whomever makes that happen! [And, frankly, if space is limited, I’m happy to settle for the last three sets… :-) ]
