Andrew Luck twice finished second in the Heesman Trophy voting. What other Stanford QB's finished in the top ten Heesman balloting twice?

The obvious choice would be John Elway, so it can't be him. Steve Stenstrom?
RE: Sports trivia thread -
Phogge - 05-21-2021
No on Stenstrom. Elway had a second place finish in 1982 but no other top tens.

In that case, I'm going to guess that it was before my Stanford time, which started in 1980. I'm assuming the QB--or is it QBs?--would have been drafted by the NFL, and of all the recent Stanford QBs who were selected in the draft after Elway--Edwards, Husak, Hogan, etc.--I don't remember any of them getting much H-man buzz.
But I'll be really embarrassed if I'm wrong.

There were two before your time. Bobbbb is running a Masters 3000m steeplechase today so I will give him time to respond.

Gosh, one I could have guessed. I'm not much of a baseball fan, but I'm from Milwaukee and the right age to remember both of them right from when they first came into the league.

Since Frank Chance is also in the HoF, I wonder how many others among the above pairs finished the DP with a hall of fame first baseman. I don’t know the answer…
