Really did look like TVO had Juju's number, holding her to 10 fewer points than her average. If only OSU's shooting wasn't so bad.
If only OSU's shooting wasn't so bad. But at least it wasn't a blowout and should help their NET rating.
Now we just have to take care of business.

I held my nose and rooted for USC. It was hard and I know it increased my chances of going to hell. Still, an Oregon State loss all but insured we will be regular season PAC 12 champs. Had Oregon State won out and we lost only OSU , we would have “tied”… however, OSU would most likely have won the tiebreaker as they have a win over Colorado and we are 0-1 vs Colorado. Thus the tie breaker and the number one seed in the PAC 12 tournament would have gone to OSU.
So I sold a piece of my soul to help our ladies prevail.
BUT we absolutely must prevail against the Arizonas next week . I do not believe there is any way in hell we could lose to Oregon. Two wins next week makes the OSU game meaningless for PAC 12 title and #1 seed in tourney.
May I be forgiven for my abominable behavior in rooting for USC.

Oregon State's loss to USC pretty much sealed the deal for Stanford
as long as the Cardinal takes care of business vs Arizona, ASU and
Oregon, which they should, capable of blowout wins vs all three.
But for me, having had the luxury of the easiest PAC 12 schedule
among the PAC12 upper echelon teams, I want to see Stanford:
(1) compete at their very best at Oregon State (with BEERS playing)
in two weeks.
(2) then, I want them to be battle tested during the PAC12 tourney,
in preparation for the NCAA tournament, by hopefully facing
two from the group of Colorado, UCLA (with BETTS) and USC,
but preferably UCLA (with BETTS) and USC.

The final PAC-12 Tourney promises to be very competitive this year. If the season was over today, and if we won out in the tourney, we would play:
• the winner of Washington & CAL,
• the winner of Utah & Colorado,
• and the winner of (UCLA VS USC) vs ORE STATE.
Undoubtedly these pairings will not hold, but it’s fun to speculate just the same.

Next weekend the mountain school play the SoCal schools in LA. Those two games are going to go a long way toward determining 2-3-4 in the tourney.
Oregon state takes its trip to the Washington schools, and I would expect them to be favored to win both.
Final weekend, the SoCal school host the Arizona schools, so I doubt either of them to lose on that weekend.
Here is my prediction:

3) USC
4) Colorado
5) UCLA
6) Utah
If that holds up and we get past our first game, then it might well be Colorado in the semis and, if we survive, then USC in the finals.

"Where" for Rounds 1 and 2 is easy. Stanford will host.
But I think your question is beyond that. The regionals will be located in Portland and Albany. The highest seeded P12 team will be in Portland. Beyond that, it's a crap shoot. There are so many strong P12 teams that 2 or 3 among Stanford, OSU, USC, UCLA, Colorado and Utah will be sent to Albany.
In the NCAA's early reveal of the bracket that was released last week, Stanford, Oregon State and Colorado were assigned to Portland. USC and UCLA were assigned to Albany.

Exactly, how tough will it be to play OSU in Portland?
It is not far-fetched to think Stanford may have 2 more losses on Selection Sunday and be an at-large selection. In that situation, I would not want to play OSU in Portland.

There will be 2 regional brackets assigned to Portland, Portland 3 and Portland 4. It is possible that Stanford and OSU could both be assigned to Portland but in different brackets.
Would playing OSU in Portland be tougher than playing them at Gill Coliseum (a small, loud on-campus arena) in Corvallis?

I don't see us losing to Arizona, AZ State, or Oregon. Even if we lose in the Pac12 tourney, we are still very much a #1 seed or high #2 seed come Selection Sunday. The Pac12 is the best conference this season and winning the regular season sets us up very well for a top seed. The committee does NOT put a #1 and #2 seeds from the same conference in the same NCAA bracket.

Timea GARDINER's suddenly unleashed an impressive all-around offensive game.
I knew she could hit it from beyond the arc, but what really struck me
was how adeptly she maneuvered to score inside the lane with her arsenal
of post up move against the likes of 6'4 shotblocker Rayah MARSHALL and
6'6 Clarice AKUNWAFO.
Now, I finally see why she was the #6 overall recruit in the Class of 2022.

Suppose that the top seeds from the Pac-12 are Stanford, UCLA, USC. Say Stanford is put in one of the Portland regionals. Would the other two be shipped east? I don’t think so.
Now where do Colorado and OSU wind up? Ship one to the east, but I’d bet OSU plays as the 2nd highest PAC-12 team in one of the Portland regionals.
5 teams in 4 regionals means 2 have to overlap, and it will mosr likely be in Portland.

I would say yes to Virginia Tech and NC State. I don't love a matchup with Texas. (they are physical and hard to score against although I think we can beat them). Ohio State would be a tough matchup (with how they press) if they fall to a #2 seed. I never want to play Uconn in the NCAA tourney unless it's in a Final 4.
If we are a #1 seed in the NCAA tourney and a #2 seed from the Pac12 can't be in our same bracket, it does narrow the potential matchups down to a handful of teams if the higher seeds win their matchups.

Creme's latest bracketology (today) has Texas as our #2 in the Portland region. He has Oregon State as the #2 in Albany vs South Carolina as #1 in the region

I also like Va Tech and NC St. I also like Iowa. Even though Clark will get 30, we have such an advantage inside I don't think they can stop us. I think we can handle Texas without Harmon. I don't like our matchup against Ohio St because they have a wicked press that could be problematic.
