Thanks 2006, but when I go to User CP I cannot find an option to change username. Is it under "profile" or "miscellaneous" or where?
I have never changed my username. I think there was a distinction when I first joined up to create one name for the account (I'm calling it an account--I don't really know what it was) and a different name for the username. 81alum was always my username and kpeter was invisible but an account? name. Somehow the new system discarded my username and started to use my account name in its place. I did not do anything to request that switch--it just happened.
This was previously discussed in
http://thecardboard.org/board/showthread.php?tid=15946
Pursuant to one of those messages, I requested a change to my previous name and it was done by our friendly admins.

I don't think these are mod-only features because there is a separate Mod CP and this features seems to be specific only to the user, because it asks for your new username and also your password. If that doesn't seem to work/show up, I'd just shoot Yvonne/Admin a PM.
I don't see a Change Username option: Under "Your Profile" my options are:

Odd. It must be a mod thing, which I suspect is also why I the formatting and editing options for messages aren't available to me.

HAH. Anything but, given that it comes with few new powers and has apparently disabled my ability to post with formatting. But thanks. Truly, it's just a pleasure to have this board and everyone's great comments and observations. Putting in a few hours here and there trouble-shooting the site here and there is a tiny price to pay.
In news slightly more related to the topic of this thread, Karlie played for the Sparks again tonight in their 87-70 win over the Fever. She came off the bench for 15 minutes and shot 2-3 (all treys) for 6 pts, two rebounds, an assist, and the team's only two blocks of the night. Given how guard-heavy the Sparks are, if she can develop into a shooting forward who can play and guard the four, maybe she can last it out? I think of her as shorter given her 6'3" sisters, but at 6'0" she's not pint-sized. At a minimum, I'm encouraged that she's getting more playing time than Wiese.
Nneka, as usual, was in beast mode, and went 11-13 for 25 points, 10 rebounds, and 4 assists. There was a lot of Stanford in this game, as Bird came off the bench for the Fever and went 1-5 and 2-2 from the line with two rebounds.

No, it's just that your user settings were customized (who knows why) to turn off that feature. I've turned it back on for you. To change it yourself, the setting should be a checkbox under User CP / Edit Options / Show the MyCode formatting options on the posting pages.

Awesome, thanks! No idea how that got turned off - I hadn't even noticed that setting before.

Unless I grew 2 inches in the last year, I'd say Karlie is 5'10". I took a photo with her at a Spring football practice in 2017, and she barely edges me in height. I'm about 5'9". With shoes, I guess she could be 6 feet.

Standing next to her several times in recent years including at the NCAA at Stanford definitely 6-0.

PS Bob, you might want to edit the first post to update several of the commitments (and take some like Amihere off).

Ignore all this. BC accidentally bumped the wrong thread. See the other one I just bumped up, which is the much, much more recent one.

Thanks! I did a search for the recruiting thread but didn't find the other one because I searched for WBB and that thread had "women's basketball" spelled out.
Bob, you still need to update Demetre's commitment in the other thread. If you guys don't mind, I will lock this one so that it isn't confused again.

Good idea. Also let's put WBB in the title of the current thread.

I can't seem to close this thread (which I assume is the same as locking it); nothing happens when I do. Maybe the real mods will have to do it.

I tried but it doesn't seem to work for me either.
