RE: Stanford vs Utah Game Thread - BostonCard - 11-05-2021

Hey, we stopped them on a third down!

Good news, we get the ball to start the second half.  Of course, that is also bad news.

Is there a back door to the locker room where our team can sneak out of the stadium without being seen?

RE: Stanford vs Utah Game Thread - Madera86 - 11-05-2021

336 rushing yards given up in the HALF. In the HALF.

RE: Stanford vs Utah Game Thread - BostonCard - 11-05-2021

At the half, Utah has 38 points.  Stanford has 28 yards.

You are sprung, winflop.

That’s enough. Peace out

Although I knew we'd lose, my wife and I were planning on attending, but we made a last-minute decision not to attend after McKee was announced as out. I thought starting to drink was better than having to drive, and that was the right call. Shaw better say something other than "we were almost there but just didn't execute." Excuse me while I pour another.

RE: Stanford vs Utah Game Thread - martyup - 11-05-2021

Even if McKee was healthy and threw 3 TD passes in the first half of this game, we would still be down by 17.  Our D has been simply terrible.

If I can stay awake, I will watch to the end.  I think I now understand the gawkers who slow down on the freeway to observe a wreck.

It's nice to be encouraging and not throw the team under the bus, but that take really seems delusional.

This is shaping up to be a truly historic loss for Stanford football.  People may be talking about this game for years to come.  Will this be the game that breaks Shaw's stubborn reluctance to hire an OC?  Will he fire our DC?  Will Muir terminate Shaw?

It was a lot better than the game! FWIW

West will throw a pick.  Mark it.

After 1 play in the 2nd half, we call a timeout.  Sheesh.

RE: Stanford vs Utah Game Thread - old spanish trail - 11-05-2021

We look like a high school team on offense.

Btw, McKee looks quite lame.

RE: Stanford vs Utah Game Thread - martyup - 11-05-2021

Nice to see Wilson making catches.

RE: Stanford vs Utah Game Thread - ADPinWDC - 11-05-2021

Sanders... to YUROSEK!!, inside the 10 yard line!
INCREDIBLE
... and then the scramble for your life around left end after the blown TE jump pass.
Astounding athleticism.  38-7 with PLENTY of time remaining.
HoHoHo -- put the Utes on their ass !  WOW

RE: Stanford vs Utah Game Thread - martyup - 11-05-2021

Sanders to Yuro!!  27 yards.  Maybe we can actually score.

RE: Stanford vs Utah Game Thread - lex24 - 11-05-2021

Right back in it.  What a story this will be……..

RE: Stanford vs Utah Game Thread - martyup - 11-05-2021

In his street clothes he also looks like a tall, scrawny nerd.

No.  No.  And No.
