Tree-main and Humph-trees having good games.

McKee now over 300 yards on the Humphreys catch.
Wilson and Humphreys can each go over 100 yards with a couple more catches.

The attendance is really pathetic from what I'm hearing. Does Stanford still have a vaccine requirement?

YES, the vaccine was a 3-9 season last year...

Gotta really like the grass stains all over Brescia's jersey, although he is a running QB.
Still -- grass stains on the BACK SIDE of the jersey, always good.
And now Big Herron with da Sack!  BOOM

Things are developing pretty much as expected.
Strong passing game.
Questionable run offense and run defense.
This team will go as far this year as McKee's arm will take us.

Texas high school football outdraws today's attendance easily.  I think Mater Dei could outdraw Stanford. That's sad and I bet Stanford couldn't get 15k today if admission was free.

Enjoy today’s “win”.

Take USC -28 next week.

RE: Stanford vs Colgate Game Thread - ADPinWDC - 09-03-2022

Patu looks lost...
Both teams now with guys who don't have grass stains on their unis

No more checking. I hardly think that would be the reason for low attendance anyway.

maybe not, but i think it makes a great excuse.

Well, if you really want to get negative, think of how we are going to be next year without McKee.
The crowd (or lack thereof) shouldn't really be a surprise to anyone.

RE: Stanford vs Colgate Game Thread - CompSci87 - 09-03-2022

Patu to Mudia for the TD.... And backup kicker Kenney misses the extra point.

RE: Stanford vs Colgate Game Thread - cardcrimson - 09-03-2022

Geez. Now Shaw goes for it on fourth and short, when up by 25. Should have gone for the field goal, if only cause I had 38 points for the Cards in the pool. . . .

RE: Stanford vs Colgate Game Thread - martyup - 09-03-2022

Patu with a TD pass.  True freshman makes the catch.  That bodes well for next season.

RE: Stanford vs Colgate Game Thread - chrisk - 09-03-2022

41-10

That sounds familiar

RE: Stanford vs Colgate Game Thread - PAsportsfan - 09-03-2022

Maybe there won’t be football next year. Stanford already started cutting cost on the playing field by using half the amount of paint needed for ANYTHING painted and the lights look to be at 50%.

Does it look dark on TV?

Maybe not anymore.

Yeah, I have DirecTV. . . .
