Shay Ijiwoye, ESPN #52, point guard out of AZ was the second recruit visiting. She's ranked #37 by ProspectsNation
No idea who the last visiter was.
I really like Morgan Cheli out of Archbishop Mitty but haven't seen anything to indicate there is much mutual interest. She was at Uconn recently. Likes a lot of their posts on social media. Has a Stanford offer.

I saw her. She was with what may be two other recruits. Both much smaller. I don't recognize them, but took a photo of the 3 in the stands.

Will BobK confirm if one of us guesses correct? My *guess* is Jordan Lee, out of Stockton and ranked #15 by ESPN. Her team had a game last night and was victorious.
Cheli is back playing again along with the freshman McKenna Woliczko

Just saw a photo of Lee, and she is one of the 3 in the photo I took. When I noticed them, the other 2, besides Koval, were already together so the third one may just be accompanying Lee and not a third recruit.
The few times I glanced their way, there was not much communication between Koval and Lee. There was plenty between Lee and the third person.
I first noticed Koval when Katy Steading walked her over to the parents' section to watch the game. Lee and the third person were right in front of the section. Katy seemed to introduce them to each other. Katy left them, and they went up to their seats. I did see Haley's mother say hi to them from some 10 feet away a row in front of them.

Just saw a photo of Ijiwoye, and she is the third person in the photo I took. FYI, Shay was the only one of the 3 recruits in a Stanford sweatshirt.

Considering our offensive woes this season and our lack of a scoring guard who can score at all three levels plus the likely departure of Hannah Jump, it would be especially helpful to pick up a guard who has both the range to shoot the 3 consistently and the ability to drive as well

Ogden coming in next year is pretty solid and can shoot and drive. Her 3 pt % is down this year but I think she is carrying a pretty heavy load of their offense.

Yup. Ogden is a pretty solid shooter and likely best equipped to make an impact right away as a freshman.

Yup. Ogden is a pretty solid shooter and likely best equipped to make an impact right away as a freshman.
I wouldn’t count our Clardy who I believe has a good pull up jumper. Agara also has a shot at playing time if she becomes one of the better 3-point shooters on the team.

Katie Fiso '24 from Seattle was named MOP at the Washington state 3A tournament as she led Garfield to their third straight championship. I didn't see anything in the articles about her recruitment. Her coach is UW mens BB alum Tre Simmons. We have a good recent track record of WA guards - Hulls, Wilson, McPhee.

Presently we have 4 openings for 2024. We have 2 for 2023 and if anyone stays for their covid year would would still have 4 for 2024.
