Morgan Turner has been hired as the TE coach at Arkansas.

Very logical hire for Arkansas. Turner's TE development resume looks good of course, and he recruited the state of Arkansas for us (among others) so he's familiar with all the local high schools. Good choice and good for him.
The rest of the staff, including Turner's replacement, will hopefully be announced over/after the weekend when our commits come to campus to meet them.

Welp, I was wrong about the weekend. But Early Signing Day is on Wednesday, and we'll hopefully know about some by then. Hearing NFL names on the defensive side.

This is just a hunch but if we’re talking NFL guys for DC, I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s Bert Watts from the Broncos.

When John Ralston was head coach his OL coach was Mike White who also played at Cal and when Ralston left for the Broncos White was offered the head coaching jobs at Stanford and Cal, he chose Cal.

According to a source White was going to accept the Stanford job but the department dragged its feet and Chris ended up as the coach. White took Muncie and Joe DeRosa, both of whom sat on the Stanford sideline at the Rose Bowl along with Theder and McCartney as assistants.

White was Mr. Intensity. I met Urban Meyer once and thought there were some distinct similarities.

As a Wisconsin fan, April has gotten quite a bit out of their outside linebackers (April's position group) including Nick Herbig (brother to Nate). Hopefully his hire will resonate with Cooper and Bailey.
