Guards - LEPOLO 5'7 ; HARRIEL 5'10 ; HEAL 5'10 ; CLARDY 5'10
And the rest of the team:
"BIGs" - UMEH 6'4 ; PETERSON 6'3
Wing - PAPADAKI 5'11
Guards - IJIWOYE 5'6 ; GREEN 5'9
I think with her height and deft under the basket,
UMEH will eventually be part of that regular rotation,
especially when Stanford goes up against teams
with big frontline.
It's still so early in season, but what's so impressive so far to me, is that of the returners in the regular rotation: Agara, Bosgana, Ogden, Harriel, and Clardy,
all seem noticeably better, much improved, from last season.
Demetre? Maybe, too soon to tell?
Lepolo possibly too, but mainly because her prior year wasn't great, between injury and shooting problems such that many teams hardly covered her.
Stevenson and Heal seem to be being worked well into the rotation too.
Hopefully the others will get more playing time too in games where possible.
Oh, and lest you think that of course all players should get noticeably better from year to year, I give as a counter example: Stanford FB.

Coach Paye has played lineups where Ogden is playing the 4. I like the flexibility of our lineups because if a starter gets 2 quick fouls in the first quarter it’s not that big of a deal. Whereas last year, early foul trouble for Brink or Iriafen was devastating.
Good catch on Ogden. I was going to make the same comment. Given Ogden's versatility, any time we can get her on the court and create mismatches in our favor I'm in favor of it, especially if she is capable of going coast to coast while her post "defender" huffs and puffs to keep up with her. Versatility is good, but we may need more beef and muscle against some of the other top teams.

Stevenson runs the floor very hard and got some layups from passes from Lepolo. Hopefully this is another benefit of our depth and what Turner Thorne did at ASU with her hockey lineup changes, namely more energy and speed on both offense and defense.
