USC vs. UCLA underway now; winner plays Stanford at Noon.
No stream on B1G+, AFAICT.  Presumably on Big Ten Network.  Which even our local sports bar doesn't carry.

USC knocks out UCLA, 3-1.

USC will be playing its third dual of the day vs. Stanford for the championship.

I get B1G network cable and have it set to record.  Does the winner of the UCLA/USC match have to beat Stanford once or twice?  If it's a true double elimination the winner would have to beat Stanford twice.

Just once.

I haven't seen true double elimination in beach volleyball since the 1990s.

Beating UCLA twice would be sweet, but I do think the odds are better vs. USC.

ETA:  The USC/UCLA dual started at 10:25, not 10.  So the Championship may be delayed until 12:30.
Stanford socials say 12:05 start.

USC won the first set at the #3s and #5s

Likely to be a close match

#3s Bellardi/Bell 18-21, 17-12: hopefully going to a third set
#5s Gusarova/Sharp 15-21, 15-17; still hope but not looking great

Could come down to a third set at the #3s.

Stanford is 0-2 against TCU this year, both losses 2-3.  Stanford has improved since then.
