Bobbb, the BC question hint was a guy who hit 44 homers in his career. May hit 77.
I guessed Kent because he was the kind of guy who would show somebody up and not care. Kent, Bonds and John Tudor are the Three Musketeers of rudeness in baseball. Clemens is D'Artagnan.

Some guys you might know who hit a homer off a 3-0 count in the seventh inning or later with a six run lead or more:
Jay Buhner (7 run lead in the 7th in 1996)
Mitch Garver (6 run lead in the 7th this year)
Hideki Matsui (6 run lead in the 7th in 2005)
Tony Batista (6 run lead in the 7th in 2003)

And our winner, who hit a home run on a 3-0 count in the top of the ninth with a 12 run lead on May 20, 2000.

In 1991's Babe Ruth, the part of Ty Cobb was played by Pete Rose. This movie was a year before "The Babe" in which John Goodman played Ruth.
