Offense needs to get more consistent with the pass to open up the run.
Defense needs to tackle and stop being stupid.
Special teams as is.

Power toss to Love in the A gap doesnt look promising tonight. Have been more effective with Scarlett on that play. Why we dont use two back sets more is puzzling. And not just Marx as the bulldozer. Where are the TEs so far?

My concern coming in was the defense not being able to get off the field. So far that has been the case. But they are in it.

Im in a noisy bar and cant hear the commentary. Why did they keep showing shots of Cheffins? Is he injured?

Offense needs the friggin ball. 4 drives. First one ends on a third down dropped pass for easy first. TD. Then sack on 3d down with a TE wide open over the middle. Then TD.

Offensively, its tricky. Costello plays have been successful (6.8 ypp, in line with his season average) but inconsistent (5/9 passing). Variance is a harsh master.
Running the ball has been consistently meh. 3.4 ypc.
The coaches have to figure out how to manufacture consistent success on early downs with the pass to stop SC from swarming on defense. Preferably with big plays, but thats a duh-level recommendation.

They were discussing Chaffins role as a short-yardage center.

They were talking about how he has to come in as a specialist short yardage center as Burkett can't really get low enough into the proper stance because of a back injury

It honestly looked like he could've tried to break some outside, not sure if there was a defender off the TV screen, but he's been focusing on down hilling running today. I'd rather seem him doing what he does best.Â

So far it does not appear our defense has much of an answer for their offense, So we have to keep scoring and hope their offense makes a few mistakes.

I think our O-line is wearing them down. We were getting better push and more solid pocket later in the 1st half.

In week 2, we kept the score close until the 3Q when the wheels came off. Hopefully, we can turn the tables a little bit.
