Now that Fehoko has been drafted, who else has a chance at being drafted? Sarrell?

Couldn't help but notice that Montana almost certainly didn't say "what an accomplishment." Sounds like they got someone after the fact to do his voice.

Um. No.

Foster Sarell went form one of the all-time great OL recruits to a UFA.

Stanford has a really bad recent history of failing to develop the best recruits it lands. But, Stanford is also getting the most overall payers drafted from the Pac-12 and had the most NFL players of all Pac-12 schools in 2020. Looks like Stanford has a good chance to hold that distinction again in 2021.

Things just aren't adding up the way you would expect.

Still, Stanford has fallen way behind Notre Dame.

Looked at the CBS' best available list. 3 Cardinal remain on the list: Robinson (372), Wedington (373), and Sarrell (431). KJ Costello is 340.

You think Dalman is a fourth rounder?  I'm thinking he will probably be available in the fifth and maybe sixth round, and there is a legit chance he will be a UDFA.

I was wrong, and I am thrilled to have been wrong.  Congrats to Drew Dallman!

Taking this thread back to Mills, I guess the Texans drafting his was a big deal in Houston because it's the first time the team has given any signal that Watson's time there may be short. I think they're just hedging their bets. They aren't sure if Watson is gonna be playing for them next season, either due to his legal issues or his being at loggerheads with management about wanting to be traded. They also aren't sure if Mills is a starter or not.

They signed Tyrod Taylor for this reason as well. Mills will be the de facto starter by week 6 or so after Taylor gets hurt again. Tale as old as time with Taylor, unfortunately.

You could be right, but with their current personnel it isn't a fit. I hope that this doesn't happen, because Mills could soon join Taylor on IR if it does.

I was hoping New Orleans would grab him at 60.  Im not sure there was a worse place to be picked than Houston.  Just a bad break.  Then NO takes Ian Book later.  Ugh.

Quote:Of the 70 quarterbacks taken after round 1 from 2013-20, including 26 who went in rounds two through four, only Dak Prescott, Derek Carr and Jimmy Garoppolo have become successful starters.

The jury is still out on a few others such as Jalen Hurts, picked in the second round last year by Philadelphia, and 2019 second-rounder Drew Lock in Denver, but that history doesn’t bode well for this year’s class.

Five quarterbacks were drafted after the first round this year, matching the fewest taken after round one in the common draft era that started in 1967. As more teams elevate quarterbacks up their draft boards to take them in the first round, the quality in the later rounds has dropped.

yes, but as they mention, in 2011 / 2012 there were andy dalton, russell wilson, colin kaepernick, and kirk cousins. plus nick foles, whom they don't mention. i doubt 2012 is so long ago as to be irrelevant.

I think N.O. got a good one in Book. The job however will go to Hill.
