Jazzy seems like the real deal. What is the earliest age we've had a verbal in recent years? Freshman seems awfully young/early but she seems like a future Cardinal.
JuJu listed Stanford as her dream school at one point in time but to my knowledge she has not visited campus and maybe the interest has waned since then. I don't know her academic situation but she would be a tremendous talent. I know she's visited USC and I think UCLA will be a player in her recruitment. It seems unusual she hasn't narrowed down her list of schools by this point but maybe she has and just isn't saying.

Are you sure it wasn't public? I recall that it was announced when she was on the top 25 list that she'd verbally committed to Stanford -- not just had an offer, and then she started writing a blog that appeared on ESPN from time to time about her basketball plans, including her plan to go to Stanford. Is my memory failing me here?

I think you're right. Certainly I remember she broke a long precedent by announcing her commitment very early. I don't remember the blog but may just have forgotten!
Googling a bit finds a lot of great articles, but I didn't find the blog. Here's a really nice article from USA Basketball in May 2014 that mentions her Stanford commitment:

Maybe not a blog, but perhaps a sort of diary? At any rate, there were a number of pieces from her in that year after she'd verbally committed that appears somewhere, I think ESPN, but maybe somewhere else. I do remember reading them

Lepolo had 15 points and 8 assists in the NCS semis. The opposing coach said of Lepolo: she doesn’t have to score to dominate a game. She’s that good

A 2024 local name to keep tabs on: 6'1" guard/wing from San Francisco Gabriella Kelley who plays for Cal Stars and San Francisco University HS (which is probably the top academic high school in the city) ranked #5 in the state for what is a loaded c/o 2024 by Prep Girls Hoops:

Thanks for the video. Lepolo penetrates well and has a nice mid range jumper.
Not sure if recruiting her or not, but Morgan Cheli (#33 on Mitty) is super solid for a sophomore!

Betts and Nivar
named Gatorade POY for Colorado and North Carolina, respectively. (They haven't announced national Gatorade POY yet.)
In less positive news, in her writeup as winner of CA POY, it was revealed Juju Watkins
has a 3.67 GPA, which seems a little low for a Stanford admission?
