Someone doesn't understand the concept of exhibitions and is maybe cranky about football, perhaps. Keep Shaw, keep Shaw, keep Shaw!!! Kidding, kidding.

Thanks. It wasn't easy to figure out. :) Here's what I did.
1) Downloaded the YouTube video CompSci87 posted earlier (using ssyoutube.com, though other sites can do that too)
2) Selected the clip and converted it to a GIF (using Movavi Video Converter Premium, one of many programs that can do this)
3) Uploaded the clip to my SmugMug account (any online photo account would work I presume)
4) Clicked the button above that allows you to insert an image and pasted the link to my GIF.
For fun, here's a GIF of all of Betts' shots in the game, including the one where she was fouled: ![[Image: i-W6Qsh6j-M.gif]](https://photos.smugmug.com/photos/i-W6Qsh6j/0/764f1653/M/i-W6Qsh6j-M.gif)
That is indeed fun, thanks!
For consideration re: Lepolo getting inverted:
Temeka Johnson (LSU) is 5'3"
Crystal Dangerfield (UCONN) is 5'5"
Moriah Jefferson (UCONN) is 5'6"
Jordin Canada (UCLA) is 5'6"
Aari McDonald (AZ) is 5'7"
Kristi Toliver (MD) is 5'7"
All are current or former WNBA players with multiple-season careers; some would be considered WNBA stars.
Closerr to home, Stanford stars -- Jamila Wideman (5' 6"), one of the best point guards that Stanford has ever had. And Susan King B. who was also 5' 6", I believe.
And don't forget Becky Hammon (5'6") and Courtney Vandersloot (5'8") -- definitely WNBA stars
Good points!

Comparing Lepolo to 5* players (not Temeka) and verified offensive assassin, NCAA champion, 2x WNBA champion (Toliver), defensive stars in Aari and Canada is likely incredibly unfair to Lepolo. That is an entirely different talent level on offense and defense. It’s probably damn difficult to invert Aari or Canada - two defensive stars. It’s the simple reality that if I was an opposing coach and saw a frontline of Haley, Kiki, and Brink, I’d attack easier targets like the smallish freshman point guard over and over again. It won’t be limited to inversions because opposing teams may not have the personnel to post up their guards. It’s just a vulnerability on defense so you have to bring extraordinary value on the offensive end to be net positive. And Lepolo is not the only one that is vulnerable. The Hulls were special and we will likely never see that type of two-way talent on the perimeter for many more cycles (but hoping to be wrong about this).

It is certainly possible that Lepolo will struggle on defense, freshmen often do, but how can you know this after one exhibition game? Or know that if she struggles early she won't improve? We know Tara greatly values defense so I am going with the assumption that if she or anyone else is a significant liability on defense, she won't play that much. For that matter we don't know how any player who will be thrust into the roles that the Hulls and Wilson filled on perimeter defense will do when faced with elite opponents. How will Jones do if she has to guard the perimeter more? All remains to be seen.

Right—way too small of a sample size!

Just a thought, but seems to me that the recent comments in this thread belong in the WBB 2022-23 season thread. (Worthwhile comments, but more relevant there, and more likely to be seen)
