we may be reading too much into Twitter follows. Often following someone on Twitter could be like accepting their business card when they offer it. How often will someone say, "no, that's ok, I don't need your card" when it is so much easier to just take it and StuffIt in your wallet. Similarly, if you're a recruit and a coach says, "hey, why don't you add me," unless you really HATE the program, it's just smarter to add the coach.

Be careful searching for Jordan Fox on Twitter especially if you are at work (Thank God for Juno). Just went to the wrong one.

LOL. Reminds me of something that happened when I was in medical school in Boston. There was a Thai Restaurant there named Brown Sugar Cafe. According to Yelp, it is still there:
http://www.yelp.com/biz/brown-sugar-cafe-boston-2
Anyways, I wanted to check out the menu, and without thinking, I went to brownsugar.com, rather than brownsugarcafe.com. You can imagine the rest.

And the addition of Jordan Fox moves Stanford up to 26 from 31 in the class rankings on Rivals:

UCLA also has 17 commits and ranks 19th.
Geaux Cardinal!

If you buy into 247 predictions at all, despite early predictions of Bryce Love or Justin Reid going elsewhere, 100% of the recent predictions for both are to Stanford. There aren't as many recent predictions for Buncom or Meeks. Buncom predictions are all Stanford except one mid-Jan prediction to Vandy, which I don't believe for a second. The Meeks predictions are all to Vandy, except the most recent one, which is to Stanford. There are only two predictions for Gabe Reid, both almost a year old and both to BYU. We've said that we'd like a sweep a couple of times and then heard about another loss, but I'm starting to think we've hit the end of the attrition (assuming Justin Reid got admitted with his 30 ACT score).Â

"Although the campus is on the other side of the country, Fox said he can definitely see himself living there for the next 4-5 years."
As compared to the USC verbal who said he intends to spends the next 3 years there.
And welcome to Jordan! Always good to see another NJ guy at Stanford.

Triggers my recollection of trying to find out more about cheerleading when my daughter got into Pop Warner cheer. Somewhat of a shock. Actually, a massive proportions shock. Shortly after that I figured out how to set the filter on Google. :o

How about Dylan Jackson, who announced he was committing to Stanford by saying:
Quote:I have committed to continue my education and football career at Stanford University!
How many other recruits mention their education when committing?

One interesting thing in that nerdy pissing match is the link to this article:
http://www.usnews.com/education/blogs/paper-trail/2008/12/30/athletes-show-brobdingnagian-gaps-in-sat-scores
The data is not current (2008). Assuming nothing has changed, Gary Anderson is in for a rude awakening.

Yeah, Jordan is in for some serious ribbing when his teammates find out who the "other" Jordan Fox is.
