NACDA staff have just confirmed that the June 7 totals included all points earned year-to-date. They further advise that the June 14 total will make adjustments ( presumably to show a maximum of 18 sports). Many thanks to the NACDA staff for their timely response.
Based on this, I expect Stanford's June 14 total to be 1,392.00 which will exclude Baseball.

I think many fans come to take this particular award for granted. But for me, focusing on it each year, as BigEasyCard helps us do, allows me to appreciate the incredible work each team puts in to get as far as they can.

ColoradoTree and BobK, you're both very welcome. I'm really glad to have found a way to contribute to the Board.
A great aspect of following the Directors' Cup is that it generates insight on many sports from members with significant expertise. While different sports appeal to different fans, I try to remember that for every athlete, their chosen sport represents a deep dedication of time and energy on behalf of Stanford. While we follow the Cup sports closely, we should also remember that athletes in non-Cup sports bring a similar commitment to their respective sports and also achieve unusual levels of excellence (e.g., Lightweight Crew, Synchronized Swimming, Men's Rowing, etc.).

I often found myself in this dismaying paradox when I was an undergrad: there's so many good teams to support and follow that I often ended up going to few home games for anything other than football and basketball because I didn't know where to start and the options seemed endless and almost overwhelming unless a friend was competing in the event. This board and its many experts have provided an excellent way to get invested in the non-revenue and Olympic sports that I know relatively little about. You guys make it easy to jump on board for a golf, tennis, swimming, track, etc. post-season and enjoy the ride, as we just did with track & field, women's tennis, and women's golf. Thanks to all of you for taking the time you do to share Stanford's successes with us!

Agreed! Following along with the Women's Tennis team a few weeks ago was awesome, and even though it didn't have a happy ending I'm wouldn't have tuned into the baseball regional had it not been for the various posts on here. It's great that every sport seems to have a booster on here.

So UCLA has also clinched the runner-up spot. This will be the 8th runner-up finish for the Bruins, the most of any program.
Though the Trojans sit in 3rd they'll get passed by Florida once baseball points are counted.

While stuck in graduation traffic on Sunday morning, we crawled past a table with two Directors' Cup trophies. I think they were "props" for some post-stadium ceremony, although not sure what that would have been, as diplomas are handed out at department events, and we don't have a Physical Education undergrad degree. Is there a relevant masters program, like athletic training? I know that the AD had an event on Saturday for all of the senior athletes, so those trophies would have been put away if they were out for that purpose.

Let's just say that when we first won it, it was named the "Sears Cup". It is worth noting that Sears is teetering on the edge of bankruptcy.

In a way, it's good that UNC won it the first year. It supports the case that it's plausible someone else could win it, thus helping to maintain its legitimacy. And let's sure hope our Directors Cup streak outlasts Sears's being self-cannibalized from the inside out by its own CEO.
On that note, if anyone hasn't read about what he's doing, it provides a fascinating example of everything wrong with capitalism and our country's contemporary corporate restructuring laws. He's essentially using lawful loopholes to extract all remaining value from Sears (largely for himself) and preparing the empty shell to be sent into bankruptcy at Sears' shareholders' expense. To paraphrase our national trade council director, "there's a special place in hell..."

it would seem to me that before yesterday that all the points were known except for the top two in baseball, so completing the list for all the other schools could have been already completed with Arkansas and OSU being easy to add in a short time.

By this yardstick, the Cardinal are #22 in the country (and only #5 in the PAC-12, with even Cal surpassing us). I leave it to the quant jocks to critique the methodology but excluding women’s soccer (the pro league is just five years old) and including softball (which has underperformed as has been amply discussed on this board) probably dragged us down. Give us another five years and the Cardinal might claim this title, too!
