Brink lost it.
Boston had it for the win.

A team needs some luck to win a national championship and a school needs some luck to have a 40+ year streak of them. We’ll see on Sunday whether Stanford can take advantage of this lucky break.

After the turnover at half court, I spent the next 6 seconds making amends with losing.

I still haven't caught my breath. I thought we were cooked there at the very end.

I'm not sure that inbounding to Brink was the play we wanted. Even if she hadn't turned it over, she's a .650 free throw shooter. I mean, you probably want Brink inbounding, and Williams, Wilson, Lexie (Lacie is a surprisingly bad free throw shooter), and Jones available to get it; they are our best free throw shooters.

Lexie’s defense on that drive at the end was stellar and crucial

I got back from my procedure in time for the second half, with the sedatives still active in my body. Thank goodness. I have never enjoyed a 1 point victory as much as today :)

As they say, "survive and advance". We survived.

God how I would love for this team to be the ones to keep the streak alive this year. Go Cardinal!

I don't know yet how rebounds worked out, but I'm surely glad there was a rebound at about 1 second to go, even if it was Boston that got it.
Those last two shots - they shouldn't be missed. Just nerves.

If every team enters the tournament with 9 lives, we're probably down to about ...... one. If we've been living properly.
Of course, UConn fried a bunch of lives in the ending of their Baylor game too......

Brink's foul trouble and health will also be important.
One last thing...if we hold them below 70, I think we win.
We were fairly even with them in rebounding (they got only 4 more). We only got 5 threes (shot 8), and, most importantly, we held them to under 70. To me, this was the key to beating them.

These clowns on ESPN- especially Rebecca Lobo- have no clue about our layup problems. Boston had nothing to do with them. We’ve been missing those all year. The only difference tonight was we had to take a lot more of them because nothing else was working too well either...
