Assistant Coach and Recruiting Coordinator Jo Kremer has been hired as head beach coach by South Florida.

Alexandra Gusarova presumably is not eligible, because she's not playing for a JVA member club.  
Katelyn Oerlemans (2027) is also missing; the other seven are there.

With the success Stanford beach had this season one might expect the assistant coaches to be in demand for a head coaching job.

Looks like there are 440 players on the JVA watch list if I'm reading correctly.  Is this a list where everyone gets a trophy?

Charlotta Bell and Avery Jackson are among 13 women named to the USA Volleyball "Beach Collegiate National Team".
This is a development program; athletes from this pool may also be selected to represent the USA in the World University games, and/or the U23 Beach Championship.

Xolani Hodel and Hailey Harward beat two higher-seeded teams in pool play in the FIVB Challenger event in Turkey.
Both matches went three sets (21-14, 14-21, 15-13 vs. the #4 seed from Brazil; 21-14, 10-21, 20-18 over a Ukrainian team).

They play their first elimination bracket match in 15 minutes.  On youtube:

Clara Stowell is competing in a couple of FIVB "Futures" events in Switzerland.  In Spiez this past week, she and partner Tambre Nobles lost their qualification match.

Thursday (6/18) they will begin play in another event in Geneva.

Current players update.

Ofure Odigie is representing Canada (with Emma Cudmore) in an FIVB "Futures" event in Greece.  They won both of their qualification matches to make it to the main draw.

In Geneva, Clara Stowell (with Tambre Nobles) was seeded into the main draw of that Futures event, so will start play tomorrow.

Ofure Odigie & Emma Cudmore went 0-2 in pool and are done.

OTOH, Clara Stowell & Tambre Nobles went 1-1 in pool, won their first elimination match (knocking out another American team), and play in the quarterfinals later today (18:55 Geneva time).

Stowell & Nobles lost in the semis to another American team, who went on take gold.
But Stowell & Nobles claimed the bronze.
Entire tournament was played on a single court.
