Sinatra, because he starred in 1968's "The Detective" and "Die Hard" was based upon "Nothing Lasts Forever" which was the sequel to The Detective, and Sinatra was contractually offered first right of refusal to play the role.  He would have filmed it at age 73, but he turned it down.

The only two days without pro sports are the day before and the day after the all-star game, since mid-summer MLB is the only *major* pro sports league playing, and they don't play pre-/post- the all star game.

* Defined as NFL, MLB, NBA, and NHL; I am sure that there are other pro leagues that do play around the all star game.  FOr example, the WNBA All-star game was July 14, the day after the MLB all-star game.

Anyone know when the next sports equinox (a game scheduled in each of the major professional leagues) is?

2) How many times was Roger Maris intentionally walked the year he hit 61 home runs?  Zero.
3) How many times has the men's long jump record been broken since 1969?  Once.  Bob Beamon jumped 29' 2 1/2" at the 1968 Mexico City Olympics.  Mike Powell jumped 29' 4 1/4" in 1991 Tokyo IAAF Championships.  It hasn't been broken in the last 30 years.
4) What's the highest score on a par 4 during a PGA tour event?  16, by Kevin Na, on the par-4 476 yard ninth hole during the Texas Open.  In 1938, Ray Ainsley took 19 shots on the par 4 16th hole at Cherry Hills during the U. S. Open, but that was not considered a PGA tour event.
5) What is the strangest rule about umpire clothing?  They have to wear black underwear, in case their pants get ripped.  Seriously.

Is the answer to the city with the most major sports championships New York?  You wrote Browns which was the answer to the previous question.  Also, I think Chicago, Boston, and LA have more majors championships than the cities you mentioned, unless the question was missing the word “combined”.
