Loved the screen and quick throw to JJAW (unexpected!). Have to admit the running game actually looked good on that drive.

RE: ASU Game Thread - Ronnietrader - 10-18-2018

Most "Stanford" like drive of the year.

RE: ASU Game Thread - stupac2 - 10-18-2018

That drive was so refreshing.

If they have to fear the pass, they can't sell out on the run.

Adebo. My word. Single-handedly ended that drive before it really started.

RE: ASU Game Thread - French Rage - 10-18-2018

Adebo is fun to watch.

In Vegas for a conference. Hopefully this image shows up...

ASU just cannot stop JJ. Total mismatch. Absolute back-breaker for ASU on 3rd and 9.

As Huard points out, give Shawvita credit for the playcall. Got to finish, but what a bounce-back performance from the Cardinal.

Good on drawing the PI tonight!  That's the plus of having big guys who they have to PI on.

RE: ASU Game Thread - needle - 10-18-2018

End of the third quarter. For one quarter at least, Stanford looked like a top 20 team. Easy to imagine Arizona State moving the ball again; I like the Stanford defense to keep them from getting in the end zone, however.

Oh shut up with the ***** Steph Curry comparison.

---

OK that basically just killed 3 minutes.  The lesson: don't trip.

RE: ASU Game Thread - d4cohn - 10-18-2018

Not a great punt from Bailey, on an otherwise great night from him, per usual.

RE: ASU Game Thread - martyup - 10-18-2018

D must say . . .

RE: ASU Game Thread - French Rage - 10-18-2018

About time that Adebo, for all of his spectacular play, gets rewarded with the INT. Barring a monumental collapse, great game tonight from our Cardinal.

That was a clinic from Stanford on that drive. And as Huard points out, give a tremendous amount of credit to Lance Anderson for modifying the standard formula of bend-but-don't-break with more pressure.

You may not have seen this on tv at home ...  but the Sun Devil fans are leaving in droves after the int.   This road trip is awesome

I mean I know we don't want to stop the clock or turn it over, but I don't wan to put the ENTIRE qtr on the defense.

D's been helped by being off of the field alot.  Don't put them on too much.

Our offense has gone into turtle mode.
