As a season ticket holder although not close enough to see more than a third of the games in person, I thought an awesome season. Thanks for the Pac 12 channel.
The regional series was great baseball
The many come from behind or turn a close game into a 5 run game was thrilling
Great comment on losing Bubic and Tristan.
Wait until next year as we lose 6 position players and our DH plus two weekend starting pitchers and our outstanding closer.
There are several Frosh who didn’t play. Maybe they develop. The incoming class is good and future recruiting very good

Is that a confirmation that Bellafronto won't be back?
It always seemed unlikely as 5th years in baseball are so rare - but he didn't get drafted.
Some thoughts on next year:
I think pitching will be okay. Weekend starters will be Beck, Williams, and a battle. I currently have an eye on Jensen. As a frosh he got 33 innings out of the pen, and had some quality outings in the postseason. He was part of the melt down at cal, but I hope that was just in the air that day. [Jensen ended with a 3.55 ERA, without the cal debacle it would have been 2.01.]
In the pen that still leaves Palisch, Weiermiller, Rudd, and maybe Grech (junior, not drafted) as guys we've already seen a fair amount. Dieter had one promising outing on the mound, but figure he'll be a full time infielder.
Clearly we're going to need some stepping up among position players.
Tawa comes back to some position. Dieter started at short early on, but got demoted primarily because he wasn't hitting. I suspect he'll be back starting next year.
Brueser started a bunch of games, and was hitting well until the end of the season. He mostly played outfield this year but is also an infielder.
I thought frosh Kretzschmar showed some promise in limited appearances - I think he played 2B.
At catcher I don't know. Frosh Martinez had a single start.
In the outfield, it would appear that Robinson is likely to have a spot. After that the only real experience is Brueser, as noted above.
Some opportunities for playing time for frosh. Sure hope some guys step up strongly.

I would like to commend the coaches, players, player’s family members and fans of Stanford. The class shown by the aforementioned was above and beyond the norm. After game 2, while leaving the stadium, I spoke with Cardinal fans and they acknowledged our atmosphere and fan base all while congratulating us on the series win. I returned the compliments on how impressed I was with your fan base and comments online. Class cannot be faked. Our fan base loves the college game and the competition. Those condos in left field go for $45K per season. The Omaha Club level tickets we’re going for $250-$500 per game. Yes, we love college baseball. Thanks for all the kind words. The kid that hit the HR in the 9th was not showboating. He was clutch for us last postseason hitting a walkoff to beat Florida State and a walkoff to beat Vandy last year to send us to Omaha and was not drafted. And that was his last AB at The Dude ever.

The answer to the trivia question is Bill Dietrich, who had an ugly start just three days before his 1937 no-hitter. In the earlier game he was blasted for 10 runs in just 3-1/3 innings for a game score of 0 (yes, zero).

I wanted to stop by and thank your baseball program. Standford's coaches and players are some of the best and classiest I have ever seen. From standing with our players when the medical issue happened, to waiting to shake our players hands after the game. I have been watching college baseball for almost 50 years and can't remember the last time I have been this impressed.
I really didn't have a west coast team to root for. Now I do. From now on, I am pulling for y'all in all sports.
