I appreciate this perspective and in your other posts. It makes a lot of sense to me.
Back in the 90s I cotermed. My 5th year wasn't nearly the same experience after most of my friends had moved on, and I wasn't an athlete, let alone scholarship football player with that tight nucleus.

It seems all but certain there are going to be a couple more guys who entered the transfer portal from Stanford who will be returning, beyond Scooter Harrington, after Adebo declares for draft.
What would y'all's odds be for each? I've listed them in order of my return preference.
Swann?
Williams?
Hamilton?
Hattis?
Pryts?
Eboh?
Stewart?
If Eboh returns, I wonder if he can be moved to Safety? Get a year of him playing that position for possible NFL aspirations.

Just saw a mock draft that has Adebo going 23rd in the first round. They cite that if he were playing for a "more-prominent" school, he'd be getting much more hype.

SMU is in Dallas, where Williams is from IIRC, so maybe makes sense.
By this logic, being from Indiana, Swann will be headed to Indiana, Purdue, or Northwestern. Just as long as it isn't South Bend.

I'd say they are fairly accurate when there are multiple people making predictions. But that 100% is based on only one prediction. Still, from afar, I think that SMU is a fair bet given that it's a decent school that costs lots of money and that has a good team (ended the regular season this year with only two losses) in a league that is only marginally worse than the Pac-12, meaning that he may have a better chance of going to a bowl game from SMU than Stanford next year. And he should start given that all three DTs on the bowl game depth chart are seniors or grad transfers, and the starting nose tackle is also a senior.

Jet Toner will be back next year.

He has three more years, so I’ll be finishing high school first going up, and I'll be going up and competing with Ryan and Jet to try and win a starting job. And if I don't, if it's really close, they'll probably have Jet finish out his career and I'll be able to redshirt which I would enjoy a lot because I have an extra year of education at Stanford.

I don't ever remember seeing Peek play for Stanford, and if he ever did, it wasn't much. Certainly makes me wonder why a school would want him, but good luck to Bo Peek and here's to hoping he'll get on the field for USF.

I seem to remember reading/hearing that he was injured very early on. Regardless, good on him for sticking it out these four years, and all the best to him at USF.

He did in fact play this season, but extremely sparingly. And not very well.
Yes, he had multiple injuries - including at least one that required surgery - throughout his career, and he took a quarter off during one season because he became a father. Hard to become good at any activity, let alone an extremely demanding NCAA sport, when you miss a ton of opportunity to practice it. Great that he found an opportunity close to home!
