But were they wearing glasses?

The most salient point is under CDC guidelines, everyone who came in contact with the POTUS must quarantine for 14 days. The act was a manifestation of selfish disregard for others that is almost incomprehensible. Doctors at Walter Reed called it insanity, so not surprising to see so many MDs questioning if he's been given a psych evaluation because Dexamethasone is known to impair brain function.
Makes a mockery of Walter Reed Hospital.

Me? I'm content with "you reap what you sow," and Trump getting Covid is that in spades.
Teejers 1-
This is where I am at this point.
I understand that the GOP officials in DC are all-in on supporting Trump even if it literally kills them. Don't understand it. Don't get it. But now don't care.
They lie.
They mislead.
They will do or say anything to avoid a cyberbullying type tweet from POTUS45.
Got it.
At this point the unbelievable careless actions of POTUS45 clearly have no limits. My dreams of the silver lining from POTUS45 with his COVID experience were clearly misplaced.
I will continue to hope that POTUS45 and the ever growing list of COVID19 positive staffers from his administration recover quickly.
If Biden wins the election I would strongly advise future POTUS46 to stay out of the White House until several very deep cleaning sweeps are completed.
Trump's rally cry was Drain the Swamp
Biden's rally cry will literally need to be Clean the House

yes, including the driver of the car and the two secret service agents in the car. Reportedly the secret service is already short staffed because of the many quarantined or infected agents.

I've been banging that refrain since Trump freaking got elected.
Can't believe he hasn't taken my advice . . .
Can't believe those close to him haven't persuaded him.
But fortunately, I don't do Twitter (or any other SM for that matter).
I prefer to get info vetted by smart folks, like here. It really is an excellent filter for quality info.

Good news; Trump will be leaving the hospital later today.
I look forward to seeing a more humble, chastened President whose experience with COVID-19 makes him take the virus much more seriously.
I also look forward to receiving the inheritance from my long lost relative stuck in a the Royal Nigerian Bank of Commerce.
Nonetheless, happy that Trump's illness wasn't more serious.

Can't find any references on this. All I see are Trump _wants_ to leave the hospital today. Then again, he is the POTUS (as far as wants -> reality goes)
Edit: Oh, I now see references that he said it. So I assume that means he tweeted it (not a follower). 6:30PM ET.

That's
Trump On Steroids for you! Just what we needed.
In case you were unaware, feeling great is a clear steroid effect. (of course, he could be getting better too, but not 20 years better!)
I see this in med mal cases in which the doctor prescribes a steroid without knowing what's going on. Patient feels much better but the underlying condition is not treated and continues to get worse.
I would add to Trump's "Don't be afraid of Covid," "as long as you have a team of least 10 doctors treating you and access to experimental antibody treatment"

You are a mere mortal. Super Trump on steroids might even be ready to appear as a wrestler in a WWE event soon. ;)
And for all of us out there that have not suffered from COVID19 we apparently can no longer comment on the virus because we have no first hand experience with the disease. Those that have yet to test positive should just trust Super Trump since he has first had experience.
Now get out to your neighborhood sports bar and get ready to watch BigTen football!

Nearly One-Third of Covid Patients in Study Had Altered Mental State
The hospitalized patients showed signs of deteriorating neurological function, ranging from confusion to coma-like unresponsiveness, new research indicates.
Oct. 5, 2020
Nearly a third of hospitalized Covid-19 patients experienced some type of altered mental function — ranging from confusion to delirium to unresponsiveness — in the largest study to date of neurological symptoms among coronavirus patients in an American hospital system
After they were discharged, only 32 percent of the patients with altered mental function were able to handle routine daily activities like cooking and paying bills, said Dr. Igor Koralnik, the senior author of the study and chief of neuro-infectious disease and global neurology at Northwestern Medicine. In contrast, 89 percent of patients without altered mental function were able to manage such activities without assistance.
Patients with altered mental function — the medical term is encephalopathy — were also nearly seven times as likely to die as those who did not have that type of problem.
“Encephalopathy is a generic term meaning something’s wrong with the brain,” Dr. Koralnik said. The description can include problems with attention and concentration, loss of short-term memory, disorientation, stupor and “profound unresponsiveness” or a coma-like level of consciousness.

Probably not the case with the president but something to be watchful for.

Scary prospect because Putin would snap Trump's arm off (and we'd all be speaking Russian in a year). If you're looking for a silver lining in any such scenario, per some posters the USA is a house of cards facing inevitable ruin . . . so at least we'd be getting good odds!
