Not completely unexpected, UC Irvine (28-5) demolished Cal Poly San Luis Obispo (16-19), 96-78

Or does Derin Saran regret leaving UCI?

Because if Saran had stayed at UC Irvine he wouldn’t have been hurt ? :)

No - I was just being a bit flippant. I don't know anything about Derin. If he is a true student-athlete, he is probably delighted to be at Stanford.
But he was a pretty key player at UCI last season. And now they are one win away from going to the NCAA tournament - playing against a team that they split 2 games with. Maybe there might be a bit of a thought of what might have been??

Got it good thoughts. Hope Saran stays and is a key player next year

As you get older, you begin to realize how many events you thought were conspiracy theories are, in fact, just reality. Heightened sense of paranoia is the result.

Just think next years ACC home schedule we’ll have Duke, North Carolina, Louisville, Notre Dame all coming to Maples.

And that sounds like alot of fun...if we are at least decent with some breakout games.

It will be very tough to go the whole conference schedule with only 1 home loss next year. Perhaps in 27-28, CKS can get us to the point where we have a shot at going undefeated at home.

North Carolina got into the play-in. They were the last team in according to Keith Gill, vice chair of selection committee. Our new conference salvages some dignity.
It does come at the expense of West Virginia (who everybody thought would be in), Boise State, and Indiana and I'm sure all those guys have as legitimate a beef as those who get barely left out in any year.

Especially, West Virginia.
