I might add that Danny Duffy is undergoing arm surgery and is out until June. Given the way that Zaidi functions, he might be a name to keep an eye on once baseball resumes…

Corry wasn’t taken because he will be in the Rule 5 Major League draft (which has been postponed until the lockout is over). The draft that was held earlier this week was the minor league draft.

I like Duffy, in minor ways. At his best, he's slightly above average, last year was exactly average (OPS+ 100). As a batter, reminds me of Harry Spilman. Terrific pinch-hitter. Above average fielder everywhere but shortstop, so he's versatile. Good in the dugout. If he'd had enough ABs, he'd be 10th in the NL in batting average. Maybe the batting coaches here can turn him into a batting champ. Don't know how they'd keep him on the field.

Couldn’t understand Cincy’s game plan. I’m glad they didn’t attack downfield all game - like they did in the 4th. The Niner corners are, to state the obvious - bad.

Listened to the pre-pre game on KNBR, I think, and they talked about how the strength of Cincy's O was the deep ball. Surprised they didn't exploit it more. Guess they figured Burrow (or is it Burrough, or even Borough) wouldn't have enough time with Bosa chasing him around. . ..
