3 new CBs for the good guys today.

RE: Class of 2021 - BobK - 04-16-2020

The Tree in the left and Stanford on the right were cut off above. At least for me.

Thanks for the post Samuel

Looooots of safety offers in this class (rightfully so after one who was expected to come in will no longer be doing so). Hearing staff may take 2-3.

3 new CBs for the good guys today.

Florida, LSU, Oregon, USC, Stanford.

Hmm, which one is not like the other? If the application is being filled out, seems like a Stanford kid.

[tweet]https://twitter.com/nolanrucci/status/1252241792164036608[/tweet]Naturally a mega-whale player will have a mega-whale top 9. He is a great student and wants to work at NASA, which is super cool.

(Unrelated to the above) Hopefully, a couple more offers should be coming soon.

RE: Class of 2021 - Phogge - 04-20-2020

NASA right down the street. At State the Zoo was right down the street. A couple of teammates snuck in one night and got chased by one of those big birds, perhaps an emu?

First defensive commit of the class! Dad was a NFL player for a few years.

247 says he's 160 so probably not Safety.

RE: Class of 2021 - SamuelMcF - 04-21-2020

Did an interview in which he said he's probably starting at NB/CB.

Really hoping we get him. Would be excellent reinforcements at OG.

RE: Class of 2021 - Jamesy - 04-23-2020

I think a lot of people missed this commitment because it's a little unusual.

Nice.  4* DT's don't grow on trees!

RE: Class of 2021 - SamuelMcF - 04-23-2020

Not a commitment.

RE: Class of 2021 - BostonCard - 04-23-2020

Odd way of not committing.

He plans on being drafted to the NFL in 2024. I don't see how that's odd at all. That's likely every college football recruit's goal.

Nice recruiting graphic though. Here's another one.

That was the only post I saw. Sure fooled me. I interpreted as he plans on being drafted in 2024 after going to Stanford.

RE: Class of 2021 - OutsiderFan - 04-24-2020

I’ll really be impressed when a school posts an obit graphic for a 15 year old, that talks about the recruit’s college, NFL, post-football career, and retirement life!

Seriously, I get the marketing, but it’s a little over the top to project high school recruits as first round picks, let alone all-conference players and national champions, isn’t it? I guess dressing guys in college recruits in school units just isn’t enough anymore, but where does the projecting your future” arms race” end?

RE: Class of 2021 - BostonCard - 04-24-2020

Looks like Stanford is producing the graphics for the kids.  From the outside, it looks a bit gauche, but as a recruiting tool, it's a pretty smart idea.
