That was exciting. Glad Dailey and McKinney had a substantial lead or it might have been too excting!
USC up 2-0 on Oregon, that will be over soon. So Stanford will meet USC tomorrow at 1:15pm.

The most likely scenario is Stanford loses against #1 USC tomorrow and then has to play again later in the afternoon in the contenders bracket. Hog heaven for college beach volleyball fans.
How does the PAC-12 network make money off this programming? In today's match there were probably about 50 friends and family watching, BobK, John, and myself.

UCLA vs. Arizona getting started about a half hour late. Might effect Stanford's match time.

We just got owned on Court 1 against USC. Lost the 3s, 5s, and 1s. Match over.
They say we play ASU in the consolation bracket at 4:30.
RE: Stanford Beach Volleyball -
BobK - 04-30-2021
Actually we do play ASU :)
Usc # 1 in the nation for a reason.
RE: Stanford Beach Volleyball - Softball Fan - 04-30-2021
USC's #1 team:
Graudina is from Latvia. She qualified for the Olympics to represent Latvia.
Kraft was ranked the #1 beach recruit by Volleyballmag.com
The match against ASU should be more exciting for Stanford fans.

I wouldn't mind if Arizona knocks off Cal:

Otherwise Stanford might meet Cal for a sixth time.
Fun fact: in 2018 when Kathryn Plummer played in the AVP Hermosa Beach Open, she teamed with Hailey Harward (then an indoor player at LBSU, now on the USC beach team).
RE: Stanford Beach Volleyball - Softball Fan - 04-30-2021
Plummer and Harward started out near the bottom of the qualifier bracket and nearly made it to the semi-finals. USC has way too much talent and will be even better next year.

Cal and Arizona is going to run long. I don't think Stanford/ASU will start until after 5pm.

All true. Tina Graudina has a year (or two?) left if she comes back to USC after the Olympics. Plus they gain Sunny!

1-1 but close to 2-1 Stanford
Plus we won the first set in the other two matches
2-1 Stanford
RE: Stanford Beach Volleyball -

3s win, 5s lose first round. 1s put Stanford ahead. 4s could finish it.

2s and 4s each one their first set, so we are in a good position.

Well, we get a re-re-re-re-match against Cal tomorrow. In five previous matches against the Bears, we are 3-2, though Cal pairs have won 13 out of the 25 individual matches.

#2 UCLA beats #1 USC 3-1.
Stanford vs. Cal delayed about 15 minutes.

Pac12 Bay Area showed 30 minutes of golf and now some old football game. WTF?

Stanford wins 3-0.
