If only we hadn't missed those 50 tackles.

Think Shaw will ask Wittingham “what’s your deal?”

I think Wittingham should ask Shaw "what's your deal?"

Patu had a nice throw there.

It was a nice pass. Smith is starting to pick it up too.

Send that tape to Gitmo to torture enemies of the realm...
None of the losses in Wiggin's worst year (1983) at 1-11 were that bad.

Of course he does. Shaw/Pritchard have no clue about QBs.

Rather than dropping 11 sports Stanford should have dropped only one.

Yes, if McKee is still out I'd really like to see Patu start. Sanders can still come in as a changeup but must be allowed to check into a pass when they load the box.
Of course it's all academic if the line can't block and the D can't tackle.

Shaw sounded troubled in radio after talk. Said they need to look at effort and attention to detail, schemes and who should play. Said other stuff but it's so hard to decipher with the bad signal on that dumb radio station.

We were utterly outplayed in every facet of the game. We have a long road back to competitiveness, which is troubling. Not sure this is fixable any time soon, and while I’m pretty sanguine about the recruiting class, I don’t think there are a lot of instant difference makers there, so we are really looking at three years down the line when they are redshirt sophomores and juniors. And that presumes that they develop, which has been a problem.
Nobody ever said that being a Stanford fan was easy.

Some stats…
We were outgained 440-28 in the first half, the second worst yardage discrepancy at halftime in seven years. This was the worst loss since going down 57-7 in 2003. We gave up three 100-yard rushers… the first time it has happened in the PAC-12 since 2017. It was the most yards rushing we’ve given p in Shaw’s tenure.
