Playing any athlete 50 minutes without rest is unethical and bragging about it on social media is a bit nutty. Reminds me of that same social media person bragging about Appel playing with a stress fracture.
It’s a player safety issue and player safety is more important than wins and losses. It’s one of the MANY reasons I have no problems with NIL; it is long overdue.
Pretty sure our SID was learning fractions and the difference between a noun and a verb when Jayne was playing with a stress fracture. I get why she did it (with her parents' okay), but I still give the doc the evil eye when I run into her.
are you sure it was with her parents' ok? i seem to remember sitting next to jayne's parents at a game and hearing them grumble.
Nope, I don't know for sure. I recall discussing it at the time with other fans, but I likely assumed it. Her parents (lawyer and nurse) appeared to be very involved in her life, but she was an adult by that time. I have friends who were so incensed that they cancelled their season tickets. I was so ambivalent it hurt.

Eventually I'll get this video on Youtube. Technical problems and glitches plus having to file IRS Form 1040-X (look it up).
When I get it posted, take a look at the game with about 4 minutes left in 4Q. Sherrod flops, then comes up like her ankle is hurt. Easy way to get a de facto time out.
Hope the Pac-12 does some serious off-season referee education.

What do you see? When I say Lepolo either can’t see passing lanes and can’t make simple passes or doesn’t have the “right” skillset, this is what I mean. This is an easy point opportunity for Stanford and Lepolo misses these passing windows all game. I wasn’t Marta’s biggest fan but I actually feel confident even Marta would make this pass.
This is one of Lepolo’s most egregious misses but the passing windows are so much narrower in the NCAA tournament that if she can’t hit Brink in stride here with this extraordinarily wide passing window, Stanford is doomed if Tara insist on playing her a lot in crucial minutes.

The video of the Colorado game I linked earlier in this thread does not show 1st quarter at 2:49. Could you point me to what video you are commenting on?

I have it in Sling and with 2:49 to go in Q1 Colo has the ball and is up 10-0. Are we talking about the same game?

Sorry I meant to respond to the Utah thread not the Colorado thread. My bad. That Timestamp was the Utah v Stanford game
