Are you referring to Leo Nomellini (sp?)?
If so, I'm pretty sure he had a son or maybe nephew (doubt it would be grandson) - Drew - who attended the same HS I did and was a classmate of one of my siblings.

LaRussa and Baker. Had to be Atlanta. I know Dusty played for the Braves at that time. I didn’t know that LaRussa played for them.

Are you asking about formal at bats or plate appearances?
At bats, this way you have to think of someone who is towards the top of the order, who didn't miss many games, but who also didn't walk a lot.
