Any Chuck Taylor Grove tables not being used for ND game? - donkey687 - 11-23-2015

We normally rent a tailgate location in Avery Plaza at corner of CTG, but we couldn't secure one for ND game so we are looking for an alternative meeting place for our tailgating group.  The Chuck Taylor Grove spots seemed to be all locked up in perpetuity, but perhaps someone is going to be out of town for ND game and wants to see their table used. Message me if you have an open table.

I'm not interested in a Chuck Taylor Grove table but I've walked by it for decades and I'm curious about it.

Could someone explain exactly what the process is?

Is there an organized waitlist, do you need a personal invite from the A.D., do you need to be a major donor or player parent, what?

They are controlled by Buck/Cardinal club so donor level influences it, but I think many of the tables have been held by the same group of people for a long period of time and there isn't much turnover so it isn't strictly based on donor level but also longevity of tailgating there.

They also implemented a hefty tariff for CTG tailgating this year.  Think historically it has been around $400/season.
But that spiked dramatically this year.
