With a win tomorrow, the Cardinal could get a Final Four berth.
But with a loss, who goes to the Rose Bowl? Per various comments on various threads, the Rose Bowl committee can basically pick, within ranking parameters, any PAC12 team it wants. Champ U$C, which can't make the Final Four? Better-record-than U$C Stanford? Better-record-than U$C Oregon?

Oregon, if the Pac-12 wants a win. U$C, if they want to sell tickets.

The Rose Bowl has said it will try to respect the CFB Playoff rankings. If we make it to the final four, Oregon is going, which means Duck fans will be rooting for us.

I'm confused by your question. If Stanford loses tomorrow it is U$C, they would be the Pac-12 champ. There is no deciding. The only situation where the Rose Bowl gets a choice is if the Pac-12 champ is in the playoffs (and the Rose Bowl isn't a playoff site).

100% correct. Winner tomorrow either goes to a playoff game or the Rose Bowl. If the winner goes to a playoff game Rose Bowl has leeway and has said they would select the next highest ranking Pac12 team. Same deal with the Big 10.
