I don't want to be anywhere near Christian tonight - Rally - 12-10-2015

I watched Toby's face as he lost, and Andrew's as he lost twice, and Christian's tonight.  Christian is pissed. Seriously pissed.  Not a character flaw, in my opinion, but a true, deep, committed competitor who will not accept this.  Of course I don't know but I have a feeling we are about to see Christian "loose Hell on them" and it will be amazing to see.  The man is pissed and you don't want to get the Man pissed.

I hope the team is fired up to beat Iowa as a bit of revenge for the indirect slight.  I know that a team of 80+ young men may not entirely like McCaffrey (I hope they do, I'm just saying), but I hope the team has an excellent few weeks of practice and gives us a great show in the Rose Bowl.

This strikes me as kind of a weird comment.  I suppose your speculation about McCaffery's teammates and the possibility that he is not universally liked could conceivably be true.  But you raise the possibility out of thin air and I'm not sure what triggered the thought.  Care to elaborate?

I certainly hope everyone is pulling for him.  I have often wondered about how difficult the situation must be for Barry Sanders, though--and for his father.

Well I would imagine the likelihood is high that at least someone on the team doesn't like him.  I don't know a thing about Christian as a person, so this is in no way meant to be an affront.  It's just reality.  Not everyone on a football team (or basketball team, or sales team, or physics class) is going to like everyone else in that group.

... well, except for the physics class.

With only a few posts, this is moving into contention for weirdest thread of the year.

Exactly.  Room in the hotel rooms last night.  First Shaw.  Next one McCaffrey.

I'll put up a couple of thoughts in a more discreet location.
