Absolutely zero surprise there. Congrats to Garnett for realizing the foregone conclusion.
Buckner won the defensive award, and there was zero surprise there either.

One last thought. The 2012 offensive line recruiting class, which drew so many accolades as perhaps the best one ever, has lived up to its hype.
2 Morris trophy winners (Peat, Garnett)
1 Outland trophy winner (Garnett)
1 all-American (Peat)
1 consensus (possibly unanimous) all-American (Garnett)
3 first team all-Pac-12 (Peat, Murphy, Garnett)
2 second team all-Pac-12 (Murphy, Peat)
5 multi-year starters (Peat, Garnett, Murphy, Caspers, Shuler)
1 first round draft pick (Peat)
And more to come, with Murphy and Garnett likely being drafted this year, and Shuler, Caspers, and Fanaika coming back next year and likely starting (and possibly being a three year starter).

Good point about the 2012 offensive line class. They really have done well. And they're not done yet. Caspers and Shuler were named honorable mention All Pac 12 this year, so they are well positioned to win honors next year. Davidson has a shot at becoming a starter next year. And Fanaika has three years remaining. . . .

What I am truly enjoying is the number of opponents of ours who think 4 of the O-Line are leaving. I used to think I should correct them, but they will figure it out next year.
